My truck has 38,500 miles on it and I bought it certified with new tires a little over a month ago. The balancing did improve the sounds and vibrations significantly.
Truck rides pretty nicely but I just didn't know how smooth the tires are supposed to ride on the road and hwy. If I listen...
So my truck switches to 4x4 mode without issue. What do I need to do to ensure that the 4x4 mode correctly remains engaged without issues? I'm always on pavement so should I just drive a bit in the 4wd mode on paved road to confirm it's good?
Thanks
David
What is "cupping"?
The tires are practically brand new (as far as tread goes and looks).

Also what's are ko2s?
I'm a recent 2013 Raptor owner and am still learning and getting used to driving a truck (been driving sedans and compact cars) my whole life.
Long story short, I noticed the tires especially on the hwy ride a bit bumpy so to speak. I noticed some vibrations so I took them in and got them...
Longhorn here as well.

Lol that made me laugh. It does look a bit crinkled doesn't it? I'll do better from here on out.

My oil reset is set at 100% currently.
If I want the oil light indicator to come on when 10% oil life is remaining, do I just simply select the "10%" box in the menu to achieve this?
Thanks
David
Thanks!

I just purchased a 2013 Raptor last month. I absolutely love it!
One question, my oil life reset is set at 100%. Would some one please explain what that means?
I would like to set it up (if possible) for the oil change light to come on when the oil is at 10% life. Do I just simply check...
Thanks for your input. I have to check with the seller but would those CarFax or AutoCheck reports indicate whether the car's had the required maintenances?
Is there a way to determine whether the transmission and other parts have been serviced?
Thanks
David
That's a good question. I'm not an expert on Raptors to begin with but it has Navigation and the 17in Wheels I believe. Nothing else out of standard I would surmise.
The seller just says it's been well maintained/serviced and it's like new, aside from the 95K mileage. I can order a carfax...
Thanks for the insight. I'm looking at a 2014 SCREW with 95K miles on it. Based on your response, I would assume the 95K mileage should not be a concern for me.
What would you say is a good price to pull the trigger on this?
Thanks
David
Hi all, new to the forum. As I mentioned in another thread, I've never owned a Raptor (or a truck for that matter) but have always wanted one.
My question is two parts:
1) 2014 Raptor (Immaculate inside and out...Like New) - 801a (I'm assuming this means the NAV package) - This truck has 95K...
Thank you for taking the time to log your cost of ownership over the past couple of years in great detail.
I have never owned a Raptor but have always wanted one...in fact it's the only truck I would ever get if/when the opportunity presents itself.
That said, I've been doing some research...
