Do they firm up with more pressure? can you tailor the ride by reducing the pressure? just curious. Or not reccommended?

Awesome, rattles clunks and noises drive me nuts so I know what you mean. My truck is still nice and quiet after driving it all summer, so I'm happy. What I'm not happy about is the GJ Motorsport shock rebuilds leaking oil on my garage floor...:(

I installed rebuilds this spring and they are already leaking. If i was doing it again id go new or aftermarket. pisses me off.

See my clunk thread, I solved mine with UCA's , spring hats and torquing the lower bolt with the shock pried up. Still my opinion that the shock eye hits the LCA because it's too close. My truck feels great today.

I bought the Moog uppers and spring hats from Rock Auto. They seemed like good quality, equal to oem.

I was really hoping the shock rebuild was going to do it. I was on original shocks at 57k so I had them done. Exact same noise after install. Total letdown.

Anything ever happen with this? Im still wondering if the rack is causing my issue..

Im not sure what to do next other than start replacing parts and hope I get it. Im a little leery of the UCA ball joint, so i will probably throw a set of UCA's on it and see what that does. I think I will revisit the rack too. The noise in the rack video back on the prior page sounds exactly...

Must have been why I couldn't get him to refund my shock cores for weeks and weeks and after many emails. I would pass on doing business with him again. His communication sucks, and I already have oil leaking from one of the schraders.

Sway bar and links are brand new. When I put my rebuilt shocks back in with brand new bushings, there was basically zero clearance between the lower control arm and the shock bushing on the sides, there was no room to put anything else in there. I checked because someone else mentioned a shim...

I think that shock eyelet should have 5mm clearance around the bottom to the LCA, way too close. On a nice day I'm going to look at pulling that shock and putting more clearance in there with a die grinder.
