I can only compare feel to my '17 and I honestly can't tell much/if any difference. We're going to need some scientific timing to really get an idea of impact of 37 vs. 35. Whatever it is, doesn't make any difference in real world driving.
And added this to the Raptor - Builtright bedside rack panel and California Air Tools tankless 1hp compressor. Should have no trouble filling up anything, until I run out of gas. Pulls 790 watts on the Pro Power system.
Ah, thanks. I never had much luck with the tailgate seals, they either still allowed dust through or made it difficult to latch.
I did just email RokBlokz re: mudflap fitment.
That’s great - I messaged them as well. Would really like to see an overlay for the ”Raptor logo” on the 37 package. The rest of it actually blends in well, but that logo sticks out way too much.
Exactly! All of the small details are impossible to appreciate from pictures along. The way the new fenders end much further in the rear, etc., is just awesome.
I'm 38 front/36 rear, which is what I ran on my 17, but feel like the 37s should be even lower. Will try that this weekend.
As for the comparison to the 17, the 17 was softer overall, but also much less controlled. I had the shocks rebuilt at 40k and would still feel continued moment well...
Output from the factory fogs is lacking, so looking forward to the options as well. From a quick look, wish Baja Designs had a laser S2 option, not just S1. That would probably be the max output/throw from the smaller 2x3 openings. One S2 laser and one S2 pro driving on each side.
From what I've seen, the tracks are not the problem. There are some issues from keeping them clean, but not from lubrication. The primarily issue is with the rubber seal surrounding the front glass panel sticking. I just use a small amount of Krytox on that seal every couple months. If parked...
Figured my first pic post should be one for the true Raptor nerds. Notice that hole in the lower grill? Looks like they made a unique lower grill cover for the engine block heater cable.
Front and rear suspension are much closer in terms of how they handle bumps, particularly noticeable with mid-corner bumps. My 17 front suspension would soak it up and then it would hit the rear and break traction. The 21 rear is much more settled, probably as much as we can get without...
Couldn't agree more on the trans tuning, such a massive difference vs. my 17. Realized it driving home tonight and it's perfect on upshifts and downshifts. Also, zero thump/kick/otherwise moving from Park to Drive, just butter.
Found them - a few things different from the G2. First, you need to remove the battery and battery tray to access the wires under the hood. The cab wires are in the same spot. Second, the wire colors and fuse sizes have changed.
Aux 1 - Violet/Green - 10A (the Rigids)
Aux 2 - Green/Brown - 15A...
