I need to check and make sure the connections are there. I'm not good with wiring and stuff so I need to see if it will be plug and play.
How much are you trying to sell it for?
I bought the truck with the mods 43k before tax but I ended up spending about 15k for multiple costs the truck had in this two years of ownership (only 5k miles). So I'm in a huge loss right now and not trying to make any profit at anyone's expense.
Just trying to minimize my loss as much as it...
Yeah I feel you. I made this purchase after my dad died which was a very emotional buy. I honestly took it off road only once and that was on the way back from the dealer in Utah.
Need to get my sh** together and buy a house first before spending all over the place.
Well this is good news. Made me feel better again.
I can sit on it for months as long as it goes around 45, I'm pretty happy.
but you're right about crazy APRs.
Thanks for the tip. I'll see if there are any car meets that I can attend.
Fortunately I can hold on to the truck for some months. I don't want to sell it in a lot of loss. I'm already down 15k probably.
The interior is extremely clean. The seats and other surfaces are in very good condition. The only thing I found wrong is that it's missing the Sony subwoofer.
Very true. It's not the best time to sell a truck doing 9MPG
I also think 40k should be an easy sale. I'm trying to minimize my loss as much as I can. So fingers crossed
Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't even know about BAT, I had to look it up and wow. It looks like it's the right place to post my truck.
I think I'll also post on cargurus and see how it goes.
Thanks for all the info and I agree with you completely. I'm not gonna rush it and sell it to the right person at a reasonable price that works both ways.
I bought the truck fully built with non of the stock components. The rear is also long travel so there are giant holes in the bed if I remove the shocks
Gotta have to sell it as is.
I think 47k would be a fair price for what the truck is. Is it too much for a Gen 1 you think?
Yeah I'm thinking a private sale would be the best option. I can hold on to it for a few months until the right person arrives.
I hate for a dealer to take advantage of my situation.
Hopefully I can find someone willing to take over the rest of the loan.
Hello all,
Unfortunately I need to sell my Raptor due to financial reasons although I do love it. I am not using the truck as I should so hopefully someone can use it for what it is built for.
I need some guidance over how much I can sell my truck for and I appreciate your feedback.
I'm in...
Thanks man. Yeah I know the feeling of shutting off mid-highway. Really stressful. I'm glad it didn't happen on a turn.
I'll take the truck to Ford after I do the fuse 27 relocation. Hopefully the issue with the steering is a simple one. Maybe a bad idler. Will see.
Thanks again for the help and...
Ok, I just took out fuse 27 and it was indeed halfway burnt. Just ordered the relocation kit and will fix it tomorrow. Thanks guys for the response. Really appreciate it.
Thank you for your response. I just went by the truck and it did turn on with the key.
I was trying remote start yesterday which had the engine crank but not turn on. I should have tried with the key.
I checked fuse 27 and it looks clean from the top with no burn marks but as you said might have...
Thank you so much for the response. It exponentially reduced my stress level :)
So I should probably get a replacement for fuse 27 and see if the truck starts. Hopefully, it works.
Hello everyone. I bought this moded 2014 Raptor (Mid-travel in the rear and 3.0 in the front on 37s) more than a year ago and have only put 3000 miles on it which was driving from Utah(Dealer) to the Bay area. I really love this truck but it has been a nightmare and has emptied out my pocket...
