My Raptor is just sitting in the rail yard in vegas 15 miles away from the dealer... FP said an eta of 2 July, now its 14 July and they are claiming it will take about a week to be delivered. This is very frustrating.
This was a 1/4 mile? Looked like that. That being said, the Gen 1 was only 1 truck length behind. That's like .2 in the 1/4 mile. I don't think the gen 2 is anywhere near 600 hp. Infact people are getting into the high 13's with stock GEN 2s!!! Even the whippled Gen 1s were lucky to get in that...
Was your traction control kicking in? You might have started to slip the tires in the back and the computers pulled power. Or it's the condensation issue.
I'm trading my gt350 in on my raptor but taking it in the day I go to pick up raptor. It's a 17 ruby red with convience package and stripes. MSRP was around 61k. I'm going to ask 60k and go from there. They are selling them on eBay as in SOLD for 50-57k. So I'd be happy if I get 57k
TRACK PREP, 4A, a decent day that's warm so the tires stick, Density Altitude that's sea level or below, and not every transmission and engine are going to be equal.
Is this new huge IC Comparable to the Wagner IC? Cause that thing is huge and well designed and I want it, but I'd rather give Whipple my money rather than Germany.

I'm It an engineer, so forgive me if I don't use the correct terms, but when you put a leveling kit on your truck it changes the geometry of the suspension as it's compressed, resulting in the wheel traveling on a different path as it moves up into the wheel well. This CAN (doesn't mean it...
Got my window sticker at midnight last night.
Ordered 21 APRIL 2017
Window Sticker 07 June 2017
Blend date 15 June 2017
Going by rail, anyone know how long it usually takes to make it to Las Vegas.
It is a truck and yes it's not as fast as say a stock GTR or gt350... but it's nice to beable to pass a v6 accord on a single line highway, unlike the last gen 1 (stock).
guys, i have a 2001 buick park ave with 240,000 miles, zero issues. It's a tank has an awesome back seat (if you know what i mean) and gets great mileage.
USAA was going to give me 2 percent for a loan for 40k over 60 months for my first raptor. The dealer asked to try and beat it and they did with bank of America at 1.5%. So I'd let them try and beat it, you might win.
1.49 for 72 Months for 50K with a credit union. Credit score was 770. The secret here is YOU MUST SHOP for a good finance rate. Most credit unions and banks will give you a much lower rate if you are a first time customer because they want to get your business. Also, some credit unions spread...
99% of the Ford salesmen know hardly anything about raptors or any special vehicle. You in service probably know more about these vehicles than the majority of your sales people. Maybe your dealership has better than normal sales employees but most dealerships are terrible-- hence the sarcasm.
A raptor vs a platnium or a nicely loaded fx4 are pretty much the same price. If you want to modify a bottom end f-150, don't do it to make it a raptor because it will never actually be one; modify it to do what you want it to do. If you want it to be a dessert runner focus on building it do do...
There's a thread on this already.

That being said, never pay above MSRP. There are MSRP deals out there.
3k Under MSRP with Military Auto Source ordered directly from Ford (perk of deploying oversees)
