Is there a sensor or something on the wheel? How does it know that you have your hands on the wheel? I too get annoyed when my hands are on the wheel and it's yelling at me saying it's not...
If you need to take out the extender completely then yes, you need to remove the center pin which looks like it will require to remove the tail light in order to remove the nut that holds the center pin.
Looks like there's a nut that comes with the latest extender and instructions state that you need to take out the tail lights...

Who installed a bed extender for their 2022? There are no threads for the center pin to screw into. I've ordered the extender from ford and having a local dealer install it (only $20) so I'm curious on how they are going to attach the center pin...
I'm in the process now. You need to become a member and the only way to become a member is to join the NC Consumer Council (one time fee) AND the credit union HAS to mail you forms to fill out...which they will not do electronically....I'm on week one already waiting.....so this may take a while.
You pay what your order summary states. You signed the order form and you placed a deposit. My dealer sent me the higher amount bill and I stated that the original order form was for a lower amount and they had no problem adjusting the amount. I pick up my truck Friday.
How long did the refund take? I'm picking up my 2022 this week and dealer said once Ford re-invoices I will receive a refund...not sure from who though.
LUCKY!! Yes, I'm in the Grove side but my garage doors are single doors for each bay. I'm currently in production build now. Hoping it can fit in my 3rd car garage.
