The title says it all. I had my stock tires placed on some ADD Pro wheels in late December. No issues, until 2 weeks ago. My front driver stem was leaking air. Luckily I got it to the tire place in time. They fixed it. This Sunday I came out my truck parked overnight and the Front Right was...
Makes sense. One of those. It’s not an issue until it’s an issue kinda thing.
Once I get the torque wrench is there any issue correcting to the proper 150? Either bringing it up or most likely backing it off down to the 150. Any concerns to be aware of?
.....see what I did there??....may as well make the title interesting on such a mundane subject.
I know there has been multiple threads on this, but wanted to get feedback on a good Torque wrench to purchase. I have gathered that not all wrenches are created equal and do require calibration...
Thanks in advance for your insight. I am about to have eibachs put on my front as well as Deaver +3HD on the back. Can you explain to me the ride height reset? What is it? why is it important? and most importantly how do I do it? Sorry for the question if it is ignorant, I am new at all this and...
Funny you ask. This is has become an ordeal. I ordered the BX135 Pelican with the Ford Boxlink mounts. Every site showed these as compatible. I went to install and the mount is about 1/2inch short on each side. The further research I did, it turns out the Ford Boxlink mount from Pelican only...
Not at all. There is a rubber seal around the backside just like the factory light that goes right up against the truck. it screws in really tight pressing the seal in.
Makes sense. I am taking it into a place next week to have them go through everything to make sure everything is done correctly. Is there any work around to the ignition connection switch if in fact that is the issue?
It is just as bright, if not brighter on both. and it couldn't be easier. unscrew, unplug the old, plug in the new(its one harness that just clicks in, no wiring or anything on your part), and screw back in. literally plug and play. seemless.
I like your style!
And I agree. once I noticed it, it stuck out so much I had to do something about it. I like the light set up on the Recon. and Pricing wise it wasn't horrible. not cheap, but not horrible. The only thing you will have to do is get a little rustoleum and hit the screws with...
Great call. Thank you for the advice. At this point everything has been disconnected, but I am going to take into car stereo/electronics shop and see if they can permanently remove.
Thanks for the feedback. I picked it up from the dealership today. I am fairly certain the culprit was an aftermarket DS4 Direct Link remote start module. Why they installed that is beyond me and I didn't even realized it was plugged into the control module. They disconnected that and as of now...
Smoked = Permanent.
New Taillights(Recon, etc) = $$$$
Tint = cheapest and temporary
I am always trying to avoid anything that is permanent. I called a dozen places in Los Angeles to tint the taillights. I only found one....even then they called Luxe Automotive in UT to make sure it was done...
Over the past month as I start my car I get this failure cluster at start up. As I drive the failures go away and most of the time the wrench stays on. When I turn off the car and turn it on, or I go somewhere and get back in the lights don't come up. it seems to be sporadic, and usually happens...
