Phoenix Android Radio 4th Gen PX6

There is a setting, deep within Google that allows you to choose between the voice assistance's that are installed. Phoenix had the setting default to TXZ speech, once that program is deleted, there is not a voice assistance set. I would try melvimbe's method, if that doesn't work, add one of...

I'm doing basically the same thing. When Nova boots up, I hit the Console button and then the home button to take me to Nova and all is good. When I get time, I'm going to try and automate this process with Tasker or Automate. Below is my current software.

You need to enable Pandora voice mode within the app setting. You probably will have to go into the Google settings and allow Pandora access to the mic as well G.T.

Yep, it really is! The only glitch I'm working out now is when starting the truck and the unit boots up to Nova, the Sync 2 amp is chosen by default and you get no sound from the applications with Nova. The quick fix is switch to Sync unit and back to Nova. When I get time I'm going to play...

You might need to do a couple of things. The 1st thing is to make sure that in Nova Settings in the Gestures & Input, make sure you have OK Google integration turned on. G.T.

At this point the Echo Auto is going to be used as a backup with the Sync unit. I found a second Amazon widget that I prefer: This widget has track control (yes, works with the steering wheel controls), and has the Alexa button for quick access. When the Alexa button is pressed, you get...

Every Android device will have a Launcher, different manufacturers will use different launchers that work on top of Android OS. Google made Phones use "Google Now" launcher, Samsung uses "One UI Home", etc. Most Android devices allow you to load any launcher of your choice, by downloading from...

That's Nova Launcher, I'm using it instead of the default launcher. I haven't tested AA or CarPlay since I uninstalled TXZ, can't tell you if it affects those.

I was able to fix the above problem, by uninstalling the TXZ Speech programming that came preinstalled. I can now open Google Assistance with "Hey Google" and use the Alexa widget.

I took some time this weekend to do a 2-part video walk though of the PX6 installed in my 2015 F150. Production value is very amateur, I did no editing at all except combine the separate videos, but maybe someone will find some value in them. I touch on 2 problems that I’m having with the unit...

Phoenix Android Radio 4th Gen PX6

That's strange. I'm making some videos focusing on Audio & Video streaming services that work with the PX6. I have tried Pandora, YT Music, Amazon Music, Spotify and the all will go to next track using steering wheel controls. Keep in mind, I have a 2015 F150 that had the Sync 2 unit and Sony...

That's a step in the right direction, ideally I would like to either delete or reassign them to an another app. G.T.

Since I have a 2015 F150, I have been following the F150 thread, but thought I would share what I posted there: Its been a long road, but I think I finally have this unit working to my liking and I’m going to give it a thumbs up. There are some annoyances I’m still working on, but keep in mind...
