When I disabled mine I noticed the biggest difference at low RPMs and low on/off throttle. At higher RPMs and WOT I can hear no difference. To me this suggests the system spends most of it's time trying to make the exhaust noise in light driving.
Agree w/ you @Loufish
Even a regular F-150 would sag more than I like and I would put bags on it. The Raptor is more than capable of towing my 4-5000lbs trailer no problem.
And with this bag setup you can still offroad no problem (I already have w/ it). I don't jump my truck, I suppose that...
The middle mudflap comes from the world of rally cars. It's supposed to protect the rear suspension from things that the front wheels kick up. The problem is that to be most effective it should be mounted further back and more inboard than the Weathertech one which mounts on the running...
I bought both the Husky and Weathertech mudflaps to compare. I sent the Husky's back. The Weathertechs are better (more coverage and match the exterior plastic texture). I have the center mudflap they sell as well, plan to run it in the winter, remove it in the summer.
Yes there is more vertical space on the 2017/2018. Mine is welded all the way around the back and the bracket is 1/4" thick. I don't think it's going anywhere but yes if the space were available then more bite on the bracket would be nice, the space just isn't there on the 2019+ suspension...
My 802a Raptor built 4/2019 does not appear have the plug for the gearshift light bar in the harness. I bought the light bar and went to install it...plug is nowhere to be found.
My 2019 does this...I assumed it was normal. I thought it was the Fox shocks waking up b/c it sounds to me like it's coming from the front and rear wheel wells...but could be fuel pump prime.
Thanks for the info. I will look into it. I find the stock shift patterns annoying.... How it goes 1-3-5 all the time.

An update on this project for 2019s. The clearance is tight on the driver's side. After driving for a couple of weeks on right turns with bumps I was hearing rubbing from the left rear. Turns out the bump stop "bulge" was rubbing on the centering cup and bracket. No problem on the right...
I agree especially the interior is nice on the current Ram. The main problem Ram has is it's V8 being underpowered IMO.

I hated looking at the poor fit of the grey dash vents where they meet the dash...non-flush uneven fit from the factory. Looks terrible on a $76K truck and you can't avoid looking at it b/c it's right in front of your eyes whenever you are behind the wheel. Sad that Ford uses the same poor...
Here is the finished product. I test drove today and at 5psi on the street you can't even tell the bags are there. I took four neighborhood speed humps at full speed (25-35mph) and still can't tell the bags are there. There is no significant effect on suspension travel that I can tell. I...
Agreed. I bought my Raptor off the lot...I walked in planning to do a special order then found the dealer had just offloaded a Raptor from the delivery truck and it had the exact color/options that I would have special ordered, except for the hood and bed graphics package.
I kept the hood...
I removed mine, mostly by hand---picked up the edges either with a plastic scraper, then pulled. Then I removed the remaining adhesive with 3M General Purpose Adhesive Remover. I tried GooGone first, it would not touch the adhesive. Overall a pretty easy job.
I removed mine the day after...
