    Eibach leveling springs

2019s ride higher than 2017-2018 by about 0.7", hence the difference in lift from the same eibach springs. It doesn't "need" to be recalibrated, but from what I understand the truck will think the shock is extended, and will apply more current to the live valves and thus stiffen up the...

GEN 2 Just go for it ? Fox live valve

Since you asked about on road, its great. Especially at the firmest of three settings. Unless you're just hitting freeway expansion joints LOL

GEN 2 Just go for it ? Fox live valve

I have a 2019 crew with: Fox factory live valve front and rear SVC bumps with fox 2.0s SVC upper control arms KHC slot delete stage 1 Deaver +3s. In my view the principal benefits of the fox 3.0s are ride height at the front, cooling for longer and aggressive offroad driving, and the ability...

GEN 2 Shock tuning with KING (feedback and tips)

Thanks for the write up. Curious, are you running wheel spacers in the front?

    Shock guards?

great idea. I used some rubber on the towers, but eventually added mid flaps mounted at the rear running board mount and inboard to the frame. They create lots of noise when on the gas, from all the spray / roost coming off the front tires when running in Baja mode.

    Rear brake wear

Thanks @FordTechOne for the detailed information. In light of the processes you've described, do you feel as though the wear rates I've experienced is within an acceptable range, or does it suggest there is something wrong with the system (mechanically, or perhaps because of dirt, mud, etc.)?

    Rear brake wear

Just had a service at 21000 km and learned that my rear pads are at 2mm but fronts are at 8mm. I am curious if anyone has experienced this type of wear on the rear of their trucks. I use mine for a quite of lot of offroad in Baja mode and am wondering if the brakes are wearing because of...

GEN 2 Fox 3.0 Factory out of the box front ride height?

I have a 2019 with fox 3.0 live valves. From Fox, there were no turns on the preload and that is stock height. They are adjustable 0-2" from stock. I set mine at 1.5" above stock initially (0.75" on the preload adjusters). I reduced that to .75" above stock (3/8" on preload) after realizing...

    Rpg bump stop/icon leaf install

I installed Deavers and SVC bumps a few weeks ago. Not exactly the same, but many lessons should be similar. I watched the Keep it Dirty videos on deaver spring and RPG bump installs. Lots of good tips there and I recommend you have a look. I bought and used high quality sawzall blades...

King 3.0's with new SVC Billet UCA's

@Pure745 just a follow up request to see if you could post the measurement requested above (fender to bottom of wheel lip)?

2019+ Fox 3.0 Live Valve Shocks!

Third update: so I had the preload reduced to 3/8" on the collars, meaning there is now an 8" fender gap to tire and 3/4" lift from stock (I'm so obsessed with this that I actually went to a dealership and measured two different 2020 trucks - both showed 7 1/4" to the front tire from the...

    GEN 2 TerribleONE's 2020 build thread

Have a look at the SVC UCAs, there is a little bracket on the bottom of the front of each arm, that connects to the live valve sensor arm that is below. The SVC bracket has two screws, and if loosened, the bracket can be moved to the inside or outside of the truck. Given that the UCAs have an...

    GEN 2 TerribleONE's 2020 build thread

Nice truck! I have factory 3.0 live valves and increased preload to create a 1.5" lift. I have SVC uca's and when I first took it out after the install, without properly setting the adjustment on the sensors or recalibrating ride height, I had a very noticeable clunk on full extension. Plus the...

2019+ Fox 3.0 Live Valve Shocks!

If you have Icon UCAs, then your system is different. You can check out the detailed install instructions, which talk about setting the live valve sensors using Icon's bracket system: https://images.iconfigurators.app/pdf/Icon_Dynamics/I98562DJ_REVB.pdf I bet you can get it pretty close with...

2019+ Fox 3.0 Live Valve Shocks!

Second update: I had the ride height calibration done and can report that the truck is softer still even at 1.5" of lift. The truck hits compression much closer to stock (still a bit stiffer given the preload and the 3.0s' damping), which is a plus in my view. As for down travel, there is...

    A Pillar Lights

XL80s are very, very bright. I have them on SDHQ mounts and they wash out 4 squadron pros in my bumper - its almost hard to tell the lower lights are even on when the XL80s are on. Also, the light direction is sooo much better from up high compared to fogs. It gets rid of shadows otherwise...
