I got my oil changed yesterday at 3,000 miles along with the recall work. My paperwork says they used 5w-30 blended. But who knows what they actually used. I guess I may find out in about 5000 miles...

I got mine fixed today. Also got my first oil change while it was in. It seems like they got everything back together without problems. No noises or anything.

Yeah I have made the decision to hold off on the install. Although I doubt Ford would be successfull in blaming a tune at this point.

Reading this stuff makes me super nervous about installing a tune...

Why did you do the first change at such low miles?

Just curious does anyone with this problem have a tune installed? If so any issues from the dealer? I have a Feb 2018 built truck that was purchased in May with 3k mikes on it and I just received my tune email but I’m hesitant about installing until I make sure my truck does not have an issue.

Damn I was hoping you stumbled upon something better.

Negative their highest rated tire at our size and up is only an R rating (which is less than stock) and that’s on the Terra Grappler which is an AT tire and looks like garbage. To step up to a hybrid MT/AT you are looking at the Ridge Grappler which drops down to a Q rating.

I agree 100%. My question was directed to the user who commented he would not remove the governor on the stock tires. (I have no interest in removing the governor or taking the truck above what Ford feels the truck can safely handle) I have been hesitant to remove the stock tires and replace...

What tires are you running?

Out of curiosity what tires do you think are better than the stock for speed? The stock have the highest speed rating of any tire out there from what I have been able to find.

My exhaust place is trying to get me to delete the resonator but leave everything else stock. They are saying they ran that on a regular eco boost and it sounded good. At this point I’m hesitant to do anything else. Do you have any sound clips?

Is anyone aware of a 37” tire that has above a Q speed rating besides the Nitto Terra Grappler?

Yes their return policy is pretty clear. Unfortunately since it is used I am unable to return. I’m sure someone will be interested eventually.

After a hell of a time fighting with it I finally got the FP back in the original box. The box is 57L x 21W x 17D it weighs 80lbs. I would prefer to sell local but if anyone is interested in shipping I am sending from 33317.

Last post got off topic so I am trying this again. The Ford Performance Sport cat back exhaust system is now off the truck. I ran it for about 200 miles before deciding it was too quiet. Anybody in the South Florida area interested in buying? $1,500

Personally I wanted the orange until I realized it was a suede and not leather like the standard seats. I was worried about how the suede would hold up.
