Honestly wasn’t too bad. Building wire harnesses suck. And the bin didn’t have a hole for the light, so I had to make one. A little dremel work, as I wasn’t going to stop/postpone the project for the part. Lol

I had a ‘19 with the icon rears and geisers. Towed a small trailer for landscaping when I did our yard. Mulch and a few bricks. Didn’t have the warm fuzzies after.

Well, I have officially completed the wheel and cup holder lights. Recorded everything and hoping to get it on YouTube to help others. Without trying to record, it would’ve been super quick. Thanks for everyone’s help. Especially @Fourforty for throwing the forscan update solution.

I’m using the OBDLink EX FORScan.version 2.3.50 ‘23 R. I think it’s too new.

I have the boosted house kit with HVAC panel. More than enough courage and skill to get it done. The issue I’ve got: Forscan won’t read the truck. I get the “can not identify vehicle contact developers.” Please put out what the dealer does for you. My local dealers can’t figure it out.

Stock height fits 7' garages no problem. The antenna slaps, but everything else is good. If you need an additional measurement, lmk.

That's a good price for a custom plate. In TX, it's $90/yr in addition to the normal registration fee. I like the R700HP plate idea.

I just ordered the RPG 2.25" fronts and 1" rears. Hoping to install them soon. I'll post some pictures of the before and after once it's done.

One thing I've learned since picking up the R is the tires are the limiting factor. For some reason, I want to go way faster than the governed 114. Q, R, and S are the typical ratings for 37s. I'm not asking for a Y, but maybe a U or H would be nice. Or, just have a set of radials and skinnys.

This looks sick! It will certainly dress up the engine bay. Do you need a foster for it while waiting on your truck? My truck is great for that. Lol.

I picked up a R this week. First off, it’s simply amazing. For the heated steering wheel debacle. Mine has the wheel with the element, but blank clock spring. I’m hopeful @BabaMike gets the full setup so I can get the clock spring part number. And…the flag is on the side of the dash. Lol

@BabaMike, that’s awesome if you have it!! I just picked one up without the heat. Luckily Houston doesn’t get too cold. Trying to see if the R wheel is the same as non-R. If you get it and have it, I may hit you up for the vin to order parts. Lol

Craig, I have a similar situation with clunking after towing about 2500 lbs on my 2019. Icons in the rear and Geisers in the front. Happened about 10k miles ago and still running fine. I've ordered parts to try and eliminate the clunk, but life happened and I haven't had time to put them in...

What year is your truck? What leaf pack do you have on it? I have a '19 with Icons and it clunks on low-speed articulation. Sounds similar to your problem. The clunk started around 45k miles. I don't have the harmonic balancer. I changed the shocks, noise is still present. Changing the front...

Those lights were cool. They said the manufacture is for the police vehicles and was testing them. Doubtful they’ll hit normal market.
