Just ordered an Escort Passport (the new one, not the Max or Max2) from Radar Busters (Radar Roy). Used a coupon code for a 10% off and it worked like a charm. Also ordered the BlendMount and Mirror Tap from Mike at J28 Design. Hopefully everything will be here before a big road trip in two...
Let me lay out the foundation here. I had the previous Roll-X version and was extremely happy with it. I bought it a few months ago after the Revolver X2 had already been announced. I couldn't wait for the Revolver X2 to be released because I needed a tonneau cover for a long road trip we had...
Just got back from vacation and found mine at my doorstep. Installed it today. I had the previous Roll-X version and this is certainly an improvement in design, fit and function.
The components are essentially the same as the previous model:
1. The two side rails.

Need to install the BakBox tonight. Little...
Does BD make an amber/yellow lens for the Squadron Pro in a wide/fog pattern? I've seen them online available for the diffused, driving and spot, but not for the wide/fog. Am I missing something?
I'll probably epoxy a piece of plastic or a strip of aluminum on there to stop the screwdriver from hitting the cord. Not a big deal, but agree that BAK should have addressed this issue with the new design.
Best bang for buck is all relative depending on how much weight you give to brand loyalty, warranty, USA-made, and other "intangible" aspects of purchasing any product. I personally like KC Hilites products because I've been using their products for 20+ years and have never been disappointed...
Electrical problems are the worst. I had a parasitic drain on my previous Jeep and after a few hours of testing different circuits, I discovered it was the air compressor from my on-board air system. I pulled the fuse and kept it in my glove box. Every time I needed air, I would put the fuse...
