I've searched the forum and the interwebz for issues regarding vibration of these bars. Let me preface by stating I prefer the classic look of four 8" HID round lights mounted in front of the bumper, over the LED bars mounted inside or flush with the bumper. I thought I was going the LED...
From purely a cosmetic standpoint, this is without a doubt, one of my top three favorite Raptors on the forum. Another that comes to mind is the ICON Ferrari matte gray. I think this a great color combination. Love the bumper and the LightForce lights. Everything about this just looks right...
This looks awesome. I would love to do this to my white 2014, but with a matte military gray. I'm not usually a fan of bedside graphics, but I really like this. I agree with others, you need to wrap the entire tailgate.
May I ask how much this cost, labor and materials? Did the shop...
Subscribed. I'm in the same situation. I have some Rotopax cans, a Powertank and a Hi-lift jack that I'd like to mount, but don't want an entire bed cage taking up space. I asked WSI to look into designing a mount to attach their tailgate rack to the front of the bed, behind the cab, under the...
Not so much a half version as just a hanging version for the front of the truck bed. Here's my hanger idea. Sorry about the poor drawing.
I'd love to mount the tailgate rack onto this and just have a hanging rack secured with the two bottom screws.
I love the Rack product. I think it fills a huge gap in the truck bed storage and tie down market. However, for me and others who may not need an entire bed rack with full accessories, would it be possible to make a smaller vertical piece that would attach to the front of the bed, behind the...
It's a simple fix. The most time-consuming part was removing the million screws on the plastic tailgate cover. I guess it beats using clips though.
I opened my tailgate yesterday, after a full day of letting the red Loctite dry and it works great. Looks like there's more extension...
That's what I'm going to do. I have some Staun tire deflators that are set to 15psi (from my Jeep), but I'll air down manually this time to 20psi and then set them at 20. I have a 10lb Powertank, so I'm not concerned about time airing back up after we're done. I usually air up while waiting for...
Losing a bead at 25psi?
Going to Cape Lookout next weekend and have never been there without a Jeep. First time with the Raptor. I know I will need to air down. I used to air down my 35" BFG MTs to about 15psi and it ran great on the soft sand. However, the Jeep was maybe 4700lbs fully...
I worked on the installation with the tailgate all the way down. It was being supported by the passenger-side support cable only. I installed the frame bracket with the existing torx bolt. There wasn't a lot of wiggle room there, so that's a fixed location. I installed the ball-joint bolt in...
Installed the Dee Zee tailgate assist shock. I threw away the stupid nutsert it comes with, removed the plastic tailgate panel and used an extended 10mm open wrench to secure a lock washer and nut on the ball-joint bolt. Used RED Loctite so the little f'er doesn't come undone. I'll let it sit...
Richard from AMB emailed me and told me there is no reported flicker due to a new LED design. There is, however, a hyper-blink on the rear lights that requires a resistor to slow the blinking down. He says it takes a minute or so per light to install the resistor. I went ahead and ordered the...
Thanks, but I've been reading about LED flicker on the 2013/2014 Raptors due to some e-module? I contacted AMB but haven't heard anything. For the price I'm paying, I don't want to be modifying anything and adding resistors. I may just cancel the order and wait until someone contacts me or...

I like that tailgate emblem. I agree. I think if all the emblems on the tailgate were to match, it would look more consistent. Not sure why Ford didn't do that on their top-end truck. Even Dodge does that with their trucks on the sport models.
I agree. It doesn't look right to me either. I considered doing this to mine since I have the white as well, but decided instead to match the Ford emblem to the F-150 and Raptor emblems.
I just ordered the complete replacement LED light kit from AMB Designs with the upgraded rear and bed lights.
After I ordered, I realized that since I have a 2014 Raptor, there may be LED flicker. Does anyone know if this issue has been resolved or if AMB Designs uses a different type of LED...

So you actually mounted your compressor underneath also. I like this because your airhose runs aren't that long. How many and where did you mount the quick-disconnect(s)?
Thanks for the wonderful explanation. How about an amplifier? Where is the stock amplifier(s) located and can a decent-quality aftermarket multi-channel amplifier be placed in the same location with minimal or no modification? If there's no space, what other locations are best suited for an...
