What a wonderful experience, reminds me of a similar trip I did through AZ, UT, & CO. Good times with the truck and the great outdoors, thanks for sharing.
Hmmm, well that’s probably not it then. The SCREW has it tucked under the R/R pax seat in what I call the drug tunnel. I kept reading the owners manual, looking for it, back to the owners manual, looking for it, came to FRF and discovered the secret.
I’m not sure where the OEM jack is on the SCAB, but I had a similar experience with the metal to metal sound in my SCREW and it was where I didn’t put the tire lug bar back in the case properly and it was hitting the jack, took a while to locate. Just a thought.
It’s hard to tell from the video, too much wind noise. My first thought was that maybe one of the radiator air dams tore or came unfastened. I’ve had to repair mine a few times. If you took the wheels off and did a good once over to make sure the spring is properly seated and the top collars had...
Rustoleum FlexiDip Matte black. Wanted to test out the look before making anything permanent. I’m curious to see how well it holds up. I took off the flares, bumpers, & grill to paint them. Used 5 cans worth. Also ceramic coated the truck while I had everything off. It was pretty dirty under the...
I do recall several years ago someone showed how to bypass the camera and posted about it, try the Gen 1 search feature. I’m sure it’s on here somewhere
So I noticed my front bumper, grill, & part of the front flares had something on them that I have not been able to wash off. Has anyone seen this happen?
I’ve known about this for a long time and have a habit of checking fuse 27 during oil changes. I need to just go ahead and do this and quit putting it off. Now that I’m posting about not doing it even though I’m over 186k in miles it will now bite me in the butt sooner than later.
I have from Matchbox size and up, but have not come across 1:18, most of mine are 1:24. I do find it silly that Matchbox does Gen 1 and Hot Wheels does Gen 2. Good luck finding a high quality 1:18.
Well I feel lucky, my local dealer in Madison, AL cut my Gen 1 key for free and offered to program it for $75 I think. I declined the programming and asked them just for the cut. Once it was cut they even was programmed the chip while checking to make sure it worked in the ignition. Took him all...
Rock auto didn’t have the shocks in stock so I really needed to get them replaced so I dropped $2886 on new ones from the Stealership. Sometimes you have to pay to play. Did them with the help of a buddy, had to buy a socket and bigger torque wrench. It’s not that difficult. Big plus is now I...
