Don't let yourself get drawn into the numbers game when it comes to suspension upgrades. Not everyone makes it as easy as it should to understand the travel numbers.
It's a sales numbers game.. Do you want to put a Roush system on your truck and call it a Roush 590hp truck? Or do you want a...
A true 16.5" of usable travel.
We are measuring ours as usable travel not at what our cantilever can pull metal to metal.
Our cantilever kit is an in-house install @ SDHQ only.. A con for those not local.
Since the Rogue kit is bolt on that is a nice option for those who want to do their...
"so instead of trying to remedy SOME of my issues, like my broken ass bumper"
"I was fine with a bent skid plate but then i was told the entire bumper was bent."
"then get told the tabs are too bent to put on a new skid plate when i come into the shop"
The bumper- We told you we could...
Guess I will start at the top -
"I previously had all my parts bought through SDHQ and they were very expensive (marked up)"
You had bought parts through us, that is correct. The parts that you purchased were the same price in our store as you would find them on line at other places. The...
Cool looking camper!
I'm not sure if I should start the rest of this response with an apology or with a "With all due respect"... But..
There is no way the kit in its current form does not limit travel on the Raptor.
The bag is not capable of the same travel numbers as the OEM...
Here is some info to help clear up your question/statement/concerns. I have posted it before so I am just quoting it..
Time to go to work and get it done!!
I asked for it to be cleaned up because you had a problem with me quoting your statement to me. I asked to do it because it bothered you.
As far as my statement being condescending, take it how ever you want. I was responding to the tone of your statement about me. I'm passionate about what I...
Not exactly what you said... What you said was "I don't know guys, the so called SDHQ expert may be on to something. Pretty "questionable" welds on my *** LCA's... "
And the "condescending" pm I sent you..
"Lol. The welding on the lower arm that you posted has craters in the center of each...
Shinning the light on the question at hand.. He wasn't the only person asking the question above.
I was just trying to show the quote in my post, I didn't think about blanking out the who it was from part. I am more than happy to delete your name from your message to me and you can have the...
Doesn't look like anyone was jumping in so I figured I would help out.. and the fact that I got this in my inbox
The first order of business here is to clear up that the factory Raptor spindle is not "Cast Iron", but actually "Cast Steel". Mig welding to cast steel is perfectly acceptable and...
This really isn't a comparison of a stock Raptor and a stock EcoBoost Raptor, but rather a EcoBoost Raptor that is built similarly to the other Raptors that leave our shop.
You can take a 55k Raptor and spend 25k in aftermarket to get it to where this one is or you can take a 45k F150 and...
Bingo.. No 13's in the shop here today or I would have made it easy for you guys with pictures.. But my description is as good as it will get for now.
If you need any measurements from a couple armored vehicles.. I could help you with that today..
The change that I noted is in the inside of the inside frame rail (read above) not the outside of the inside frame rail (like the pictures you are pointing out)
Ford has changed the inside section of the inside frame rail. The material is aprox double the thickness and extends for aprox 12" to the front and rear.
Our larger gusset plate fits with no issue, it is the small oval piece that we had to modify slightly.
Our bump stop kit fits just fine...
Besides the rear there is the cage and other safety items to consider!
Adding travel isn't always an answer. Even though with our rear set up - Icon 3.0", Deavers and our bumps - you are gaining .75" up and .75 droop travel, that 1.5" of wheel travel isn't so much the selling point. It is the...
Right on! You have a few different options to go with... A great start would be-
3.0" Icon bypass shocks
Our rear bump kit
Deaver rear springs
This set up will get you .75" more up travel and .75" more droop, as well as a smother more controlled ride.
Adding the Icon 3.0" coil overs in...
We just don't have the RCV listed as an option on our site yet.
Looks like not much input from outer guys building LT... No pictures of their stuff cycling.. No specs... No nothing!
Figure this is about educating not so much selling..
To add on what Jason said above... In order to utilize the extra travel gained by the sprung under you will typically see a bed cage that allows you to run the larger shock. With our cantilever system you are able to use the travel gained, run a shorter travel shock, in this case a oem travel...
