The air is pulled in from the oe location. With the larger larger surface area of the AFE filter you are now able to utilize all the air that you can get it there. The kit adds a heat shield that seals to the hood on top of the OE unit.

Too bad you didn't get the new 10 watt LED bars from Vision X. The 32" 3 watt bar is nice but the new 10 watt really puts out the light! Here are a couple pics of our 20" and 40" set up with the Vision X 10 watt LED bars..

Old school speed density systems have computer controlled fuel injection - but they have a pre programmed MAP built in that does not change. But adding more air and better flowing exhaust will help. Later model Mass Air Flow systems have many more inputs for the computer that change and...

They had the 6.2l on their schedule back in June... Here is their update from yesterday... "We have no immediate plans for the Raptor, we are working on an application for the 5.0 2011 Mustang and should have it running by the SEMA Show."
