The 8900 will not, 10m FM only which really sucks because 90% of people are on side band. Also 10m is gonna be dead for another 11 years till the next cycle. The FT-857 will after you mod it. Not a cheap radio if you buy it new but can be found used on qrz.com or ebay.

I did that at TRR this year. All I did was tape up the wires then the entire harness. It's now zip tied up off the inner fender out of harms way. Replacing the harness would be a royal pain in the ass.

I think I have a total of 6 sides. Two 1/2 clear with zippers. Two solid with zippers and two solid. They will work on other brands.
