I think the 19’s are better, but I don’t think it’s some drastic difference. If you factor the 2k that MSRP went up it’s about a 9k delta from a 19 to the 18 I bought. We can get about 2k off MSRP here in Houston on a 19, maybe a little more if we really beat up on several dealerships. I was...
LOL, it has not been terrible. The TT 3.5 in both standard and HO models has been a good engine with no more or less issues than any other engine. I fear I am feeding a troll though
Yeah I am not overly concerned with the V8. I'm sure it would be awesome, but at the end of the day it's going to be at least a 80k truck if not a little more. I was able to get this one at just under $64k and I am more than happy with it. Driving it today I do understand where people are...
Here she is. I just really loved the leadfoot. Getting 7k off plus about 1k over KBB trade in for the Explorer we traded seemed to be a good deal. The only things I want to do to her are add the MX4 bed cover and get the OEM beadlocks wheels. I found a take off set of wheels for $900 local...
Sorry to bring up an old tread, but does anyone know where to get the best deal on the MX4 for the Raptors are right now? My last one I bought for the King Ranch was for $625 plus shipping. I think, it was $725 total. I'd like to find one priced similarly if I could.
I don’t really off road with the exception of going out to our Ranch in south Texas, where really my king ranch FX4 did fine. All things being equal I would get the 19, but for the discount on the 18 and the fact that lead foot is my favorite color, I think the 18 is the right choice.
I am just really a big fan of leadfoot. I should have just bought it yesterday, but I just couldn’t pull the trigger. It should work out okay though, the dealer can get it prepped during the day so when I go to pick it up it Monday it should be pretty quick. I do wish it had beadlocks, but...
I went look at the 2018 yesterday and I also drove the 2019. At first they did not want to honor the price on the 2018, but eventually they said they would. I can’t feel a huge difference in the 2018 versus the 2019, but I do like to 2019 seats a little more. I’ll pick one over the weekend...
Yeah that’s the big rumor, will it get the GT500 engine. I think there is a good chance you see it in the Raptor, but I would also bet they keep the 3.5 as the standard engine and offer the SC engine as an upgrade option. An upgrade that would most likely push the Raptor up to and over 80k...
Mostly because like any product you have to jump in at sometime. 2020 will have something better, 2021 will have even more. And I'm fairly impatient, lol
Guys,
A local dealer to me is selling a fairly loaded 2018 Raptor (everything but carbon and beadlocks) for 7100 off of MSRP. They verified price today. The 2019s are getting 2k off, and of course the MSRP is a little higher. The 2018 is leadfoot which is my color of choice, and really the...
Yeah if you can swing the cost and keep the Raptor and get a used GT500 that would be awesome. I had a 2012 Grand Sport and it was a fun car, but you get bored with it fairly quickly.
I replaced the Vette with a 2014 M6 and that was by far the fastest car I have ever driven. It made my...
Ford has stated that there are having a refresh for the 2019 Raptor (it in the the press release where they talk about their Truck/SUV strategy), so I would look at the 19 more than the 18s. That being said I expect the 19 refresh to be mostly cosmetic to match the refreshed 2018 F-150s more...
Why would Ford change the engine out on the Raptor? Sales are just fine considering many dealers are still getting ADM's 2 years after the trucks release. I just don't see why Ford would make that change as it goes against their entire fleet design.
Ok so that screen grab looks like crap. It is confirming the price of the Raptor. I sent them my trade in info and the system offered me a very fair price on my 2015 King Ranch. Once I get a confirmation back I will let you guys know. I am still pretty sure they will come back that the price...
I think there have been maybe two people on the board who have gotten a deal close to invoice. So basically less than 1% of all of the people on this board who has bought one. Seems like MSRP is getting a little easier based on where you live and a few people are getting 1k off MSRP or so...
