What you stated is exactly why I keep thinking about getting a V1. I think I'm just going to go for it especially since I plan on making some longer trips later this summer/fall. It would be good to have this in and optimized before those.

I really want to get a V1 but I am having a hard time justifying the cost over just using Waze. For the most part, Waze is pretty accurate in my area but you can never be too aware.

I think it looks pretty good. Still excited to see what it looks like in person.

I do believe there is a chime and notification that happens. If you do nothing, the truck will turn off on it own. If you action the warning, it will stay on with the timer resetting. I have not tried this in my truck yet but it did operate in this fashion on my 2015 Lariat.

I am excited to see one of these trucks in person when it is finally released.

I got my truck from the Ford Store Morgan Hill at MSRP and I know a few others have as well. It's worth giving them a call to see what they have in terms of allocations for 2018. Good luck in your search.

I want to like Leadfoot because I think its a sweet color on other cars but in the renderings so far it looks too similar to the fender flares which I think takes away from the look of the truck. Those items not being painted adds a nice contrast. I will also say that I'm sure the pictures...

I'm looking at the Blackvue as well but also the Vicovation Opia2. The Opia2 is only a single camera but it also has the best picture quality. I am planning on buying something soon so I will have it before my truck makes it out of the shop.
