it could be late avail. op said that they offer avalanche in other f150's which is true but they make most of them in louisville the upper trims are dtp only . thats why platinums kr and limted and raptors are dtp only everything else is kentucky. thats why some colors are not avail in all trims

well if its a stock order than it is possible that ford may have scheduled it to run in the first batch before the ok to buy is given. but still should have a vin # . also if its stock it could be built first but not shipped right away. thats more of a timing issue. they first run stock...

look at any old classic car. if they were restored thay would have to have overspray and other items to be period correct. that's the point they are mass produced not handbuilt. also how many other vehicles has you owned that did not have the same things?
