i get it . i had a build date before too 8/12. the only thing that worries me at this point like i said no movement on our orders since 7/21 but no build day yet. and i think i just read a post by a guy in the 9/20 gang that has a actual build day. if thats the case we should have a build...
well then maybe its for the best. if we stay here an we get build days in a week or so. we are only 4 weeks out. i would like it just to go smooth no drama. i would be fine at this point with just getting a build day that week.
that would be for new orders not in the system you guys already have orders just not scheduled. that date would be for someone walking in a dealership and wanting to order a truck on sept 15 th. they would be told it will be a 2022
there is more than 2 scheduling weeks left. balance out date for 2021 f150 is 11/14. ie last date for production . my2022 doesnt start scheduling until 10/15. they are going to produce 2021 until 11/14. they are only scheduling as of last week to production week of 10/18 so you have...
at this point as long as we dont get bumped out. there is going to be guys that wont get their truck until about the week ours are produced. i would rather wait and have everything go on schedule vs having it built and sitting in dearborn for 4 weeks before it ships. i have done both...
and the other guy em92 or whatever he also was a dealer stock. i know from 2017 that its all marketing driven. media gets their drives they have month of dealer stock built but not shipped. and once that happens or is scheduled then they shift to retail orders. you cannot have trucks...
to fair though his was a dealer stock order. i think we could be seeing the changeover from doing dealer stock to retail orders. he might have just been at the wrong place at wrong time.
