Yeah, I think as long as you don't go crazy you should be okay. Here in Arkansas, the cops don't seem to be too concerned about it. Other states, I hear, may be different.
I usually just go to the tint shop and tell them to match the rest of the truck. I've been told that it's illegal and that they can't give me a receipt. They also usually ask that I pay in cash. No big deal to me. Never been pulled over for tint in my life or heard of anyone that I know...
Correct me if I'm wrong but they don't all leave at the same time so aren't they racing more against the clock than actual position? I know probably just enough to get myself in trouble.
I'm not getting one. Not sure what percent of people have to have one vs can live without but I can't imagine it would really help or hurt resale all that much.
I won't believe it anymore until my dealer calls me and tells me that it's actually here. Won't stop me from checking in weekly with Ford Service on Facebook, though.
Found this on another forum and thought it was still relevant so I am posting it. Ford is a large company and has been doing this for a long time. They have processes in place for a reason. Perhaps we should all just calm down a little bit and realize that there is more to life than a pick-up...
If you think there's going to be a V8 and you don't need a truck, then I say wait for the V8. I don't think there's going to be a V8 next year, but there may be one down the road.
