XL80s for sure… LP4s do look cool, but they don’t compare to the XL80s in any way possible. Why have a bigger light with less everything. LP6s look hideous on the A pillar in my opinion. But hey, it’s your truck and I support your decisions!!!
This is my jam as well. I always take the longest amortization opportunity, which makes for the lowest monthly payment possible, but I always throw down an extra $2000-$3000 a year on it. Usually pay it off in 5-6 years or less, but it’s nice knowing I have a low monthly of something ****** was...
Man… I wish I could.
First of all, the video will not help you decide based on decibels or as someone else said the “level of obnoxiousness”. Videos do not accurately carry over the sound.
Second of all, when I purchased mine, SPD persuaded me to stick with the stock muffler and exhaust simply...
Absolutely… the GOOSETUNED product is superior. Winfield uses the COBB accessport for transferring tunes.
The big difference between a COBB, MPT, and Goosetuned, is the personalization. Both COBB and MPT are off the shelf canned tunes made for any and all Raptors. Goosetuned will go back and...
Hands down no question about it, GOOSETUNED is the best engine and trans tune ever. Best customer service, best support, best tune. Do not second guess it, just do it and you won’t regret it.
You’re going to get so many personal experiences with this thought, which are subjective at best. However, I’ll add my “personal” experiences.
My local dealership is an extremely mod friendly dealership, and does everything they can to get things covered under warranty even if mods “could” have...
Absolutely 100%, no doubt, never look back, and go with goosetuned on the COBB platform. Goosetuned is the best, there is nothing like it, and his customer service makes it worth more than the tune itself! Stop looking and go with the best!
The simple economics I was referring to is “perceived value”. The value of anything on the open market is based on what people are willing to pay for it. Without getting too deep, simply, their “perception” of said value is constructed by a multitude of variables, however it is still a perceived...
The model will change when the “people” choose not to buy at ridiculous prices. You and I are good, we both refuse to buy a truck over MSRP, and I’ll go a step further and say I refuse to buy one “AT” MSRP: Below invoice or bust!!
However, there are lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of...
True on all fronts!! I have 17” Bronze MR701’s on 3 trucks!! Call me thematic! Hah!
I should also add that the Methods “good looking China wheel” works great as well. No knock to Method. If they were made here, that would be awesome, and I’d pay the premium, but I completely understand why the...
They are amazing... and made in the good ol’ USA. But... $700 a wheel... ouch. Worth it for sure, if the bank roll is right.
I vote 17” methods for a good-looking China made wheel.
This is the truest statement!!! Value is subjective.
Everyone is so quick to chime in on the mods and value. The mods you have can now easily be considered “standard” upgrades. Lots and lots of people with a Raptor in SoCal do exactly what you did... or want to. Also, the companies you elected...
42 years young born and raised in Newport Beach guy chiming in here... I have not once waved at another Raptor. Not that I dont appreciate them, and I promise I am not a dickhead. Welp... maybe, but the reality is I don’t share anything in common with 99% of the Raptor owners in Orange County...
Upgraded my 2019 F350 Platinum. The truck came with the Ford OEM LED lights... the Morimotos blow doors over stock. Sold my OEMs for $1800, bought the Morimotos for $1400. New from Ford the Superduty LEDs are $2500 for the pair.
I know it’s not a Raptor, but same quality and pricing.
do it...
