I always do my own, but the shops around here are right in that 1500-2000 range. Doing your own is a hell of a lot of work, but you control the results. Plus save some $$$

I don’t have a Gen 3 (Gen2), but it’s pretty easy to get up under there and loosen those up and shift them around until they are even. I had to do it to mine, it was driving me nuts.

How long did it take to get yours back?

Just sent my steering wheel to Rau, they said maybe 3 weeks. Same setup as the OP except for the stripe will be Leadfoot. Keeping the original leather, center trim and paddles stock.

I think the solution to this is easy, if you can’t get a vehicle from Ford (or any other manufacturer having the same issues), just don’t buy it, plain and simple…. That’s the way supply and demand works. If demand drops off because of the issue, they’ll remedy (if they can) or not sell...
