Get the R7.
I, too, drive fast, around 80-85mph.
I also back the Uniden R3. When I was in the market, the Valentine was my first choice, but found vortex on YouTube and was sold on the R3. This was before the R7 came out, otherwise, I would've picked up the R7. Also, the Uniden picks up radar...
I mounted the switch on the right side of the bed below the rubber pad to contact right above the latch on the tailgate. I then dremmelled the switch to length, which should be flush with the rubber cover on the switch, extended. I'll take a pic where I located the switch soon as I get the...
JefeAZ,
No, it didn't come as a kit. I bought the lights on Amazon for $20 that comes with 8 LED housings. I used 6 for the truck bed and 2 for the engine bay. I hooked them both up to a switch so they automatically turn on when I open the hood or tailgate.

You can tell by the ride, especially on the freeway. When you go through a pot hole or bumps on the road and the truck feels like it's wobbly, you're riding on springs. Or when driving through a bend on the freeway and hit a bump, if the truck feels like the rear is about to break loose, it...
