When I was looking at new trucks, I noticed that Platinums have the worst resale of all the trims. They don't seem to hold their value at all which is surprising to me.
For 2024, the 3.5L Ecoboost and 3.5L Powerboost are the same price. Basically making it so more consumers choose the hybrid.
Farley had teased a PHEV in the 24+ F-150 but it didn't happen. Would have been real interesting to see how that would sell, especially if it got a $3,750 tax credit.
My salesman was able to talk to a regional person. My truck has been noted as "sent offsite" and the other dealer Raptor order has the same note. This typically means it's built, but lacking a part or parts. So it's sitting in a lot until the supply chain catches up to what is needed. Sounds...
So I've been trying to figure this out as well. In this Shelter Green video it shows much darker flares. It's not an R either as no logo in the grille. I think they'll be much closer to black than grey. Especially when it shows the tailgate placard and flare in the same shot.
Blend date of 01/09. Listed as "In Production" on 01/09. No updates since 01/10. Window sticker still showing complete. Salesman is looking in to any potential holds.
Reading the other forums, it looked like the "VEHICLE NOT FOR SALE / DO NOT SHIP" randomly applies to all drivetrains and all trim levels. Here's a Raptor spec'd the same as mine with a 12/21 Blend date that's on hold. This anyone here?
Mine updated yesterday to In Production with a 01/09 date. My Window sticker is also showing complete without the Hold markings on it. Maybe that's good news?
My blend date is today with a build date of 1/11. The window sticker link is gone for the Ford Vehicle Order Tracking Status website for my order as well.
However, when I use the other link and add my VIN, it still shows a full window sticker and I don't have the any hold on it.
I ordered a...
For a 35" model, I didn't see much difference. I get the tailgate and 2kW generator stock now instead of as an option. I think it's a few bucks more than a 2023 model. Now when you add the 37" tires, you get it lumped in with a ton of options. That's a large bump if you didn't want the...
Tesla lobbied many states to pass legislation specifically for them to allow manufacturer direct to consumer sales. Rivian is building a factory in Georgia, yet still can't sell their vehicles here since the carve out was for Tesla only (but there are ways around it. IIRC, they 'sell' it in...
Looks like Titan has some sharp wheels. I can't find the offset though. All I see if they are unavailable.
Also, will the flat centercaps work on Raptors, or do you have to have the raised?
My salesman just called and said I have a 1/11 production date. Sounds like the "week of 1/8" group should now have build dates. No window sticker though.
