GM deliberately shut down their truck plants to reduce inventory for slowing sales. This was done in an effort to keep inventory at low levels and price per vehicle up. From everything I've read, Ford has kept churning out trucks.
Will your salesman send you a picture or print out from VinView or DealerConnection? Mine sends me an image of the print out from DealerConnection and the update I got last Friday notes the truck as Sent Offsite with an End Date of Jan-29-2024. Obviously that date was wrong but wonder if...
sinistercoyote5.0 on youtube has a bunch of videos and shorts the last couple days showing 2024s. Not sure what dealer he's at but it's obviously somewhere up north since everything is covered in snow. That dealer has quite a few trims and even showed start-up for the HUD. No Raptor in his...
My truck was a 1/9 blend date. Update today is it went from 1/29 ETA to none listed. It now shows an ETA to dealer as TBD. Confirmed it has not shipped and still at Ramp 59.
Dub Baller 30s. They are 30x10 with +30 so they might rub a bit. Just notch the frame with an angle grinder where they hit. The wall of chrome when you get up to highway speed will look majestic against AMB. You'll need new tires though. You can probably sell your stock 35s on Facebook...
So going back through some OKTB threads, I found this thread where it notes Job 1 starts on 11/27 and OKTB is early January. Since Job 1 started 3 weeks late, I'd assume OKTB would then shift at least the same, which would be end of January, best case.
I found OKTB holds in tons of Ford...
In the Gen 3 forum, we're all searching for why all the trucks have a hold on them. No one has been able to find any 24 truck that has their status updated beyond "In Production." 2.7L, 3.5L, Powerboost, XLT, Lariat, etc....none of them are showing 'Built.' Mine was built on 1/11 but still...
Vinview lists it as "sent offsite." Still showing 1/31 arrival which he is 100% certain is wrong. I guess the update is there is no update.
Need to add Ramp 59 Purgatory to the bingo card.
None of these posts are making me feel any better about getting my Raptor soon.
I get an update tomorrow from my salesman. I was slated for end of January arrival. I know that’s not happening. I wonder what he’ll say.
The dreaded ramp 59. IIRC, some trucks spent 4+ months sitting there.
Interestingly enough, your truck does not show "Built." It's still listed as "In Production" like everyone else.
No. Use the tracking app. After it updates to "Built" it should then change to "Shipped" once it's picked up by truck/trail depending on where it's going.
I don't think anyone with a 24 Raptor has gotten out of the "In Production" purgatory yet. Everyone who has been able to get more info...
