Mine doesn't care so much if I spend it on my cars, since I let her drive them on occasion. She just doesn't like the truck since she says it is too high. She is a little 5'1" Latina quite a jump for her in heels, lol.
That is what I was looking to do, something different. I have no use for a desert runner, so I built what I can use.
Your right on the expense part, could have bought 2 for the amount I have tied up in this one. Wife reminds me of that every time she rides with me.
I really wanted to add the LED's but we weren't able to get it to work. Instead of scrapping the wheel I went with it for this build. It is more comfortable when driving is about all. I do wish I could have more leg room but with the way the wheel is designed the supports don't allow for it...
With my offset, +10 and tires that are 37x13.5 the clear the fender by just over an inch. Gives it a very aggressive stance. Sitting next to a stock Raptor it makes the stock one look like a toy. Check through my old post and you will see a side by side comparison. I considered going with the...
The wheel was $2500, and they gave me $400 for my core. The carbon fiber is the exact factory carbon pattern and lay as the shifter. It took a while comparing different patterns to find the exact Ford pattern.
I never noticed any creaking in my original parts, I painted everything within the...
Here are some pics I just took. Gives you full view of everything including the rear seat panel.

Also everything is ceramic coated so I don't have to worry about scratches.
You got that right, still adding up invoices. Damn thing has turned into a money pit. LOL
I spoke with Jeff today and gave him the run down on everything with mine and any issues we had. Hopefully he is good to go now.
With wanting to keep the stock Ford look we weren't able to make it happen due to the way the lower support is made. I would have had to change over to a completely different wheel. I wanted to keep it as close to the Ford look and the cost would have been at least triple.
I felt the same with my interior. Ended up painting everything that is cheap grey in piano black.

I will try and get better pics tomorrow if you like.
Mine resembled that remark. Ripped off the passenger rear flare and a little of the fender. Had to do some body work and replace the flare. Running Deaver +3 with no issue now.
I am also running 37x 13.5 Toyo's with a +10 offset on Specialty Forged 20x10. Had to do a lot of trimming but you...
We actually tried that with the first design. With the way the steering wheel is designed with the lower supports if was very difficult to make it look correct. Had an odd bend in the first prototype. I just made the decision to go with a flat top since we want to eventually incorporate LED's...
David Kazmierski at Rau Autowood in LA made it. Took a few months to build since we had to make the form and build it from scratch. We were trying to add in LED lights at the 12 o'clock that would tie into my rpm gauge but had too many issues trying to get it to communicate, had to scrap that...
Here is a better look from the side. I don't have that many pics. next magazine shoot I should have plenty more.

I don't have a choice living in South East Texas and South West Louisiana. Shit is everywhere and deep. Have no problem getting through. having the Raptor Ceramic Coated does make it a bit easier to clean.

This is how my day starts sometimes.
It depends what you call mild offroad or what you refer to offroad as. Offroad to most on here is dirt and open desert. Offroad for where I have my Raptor is deep water and mud. Without a lift and larger tires you are dragging frame, hanging up on ruts, or having you motor swamped out. Building...
Just thought I would upload a pic of the recent addition we made for my interior. Had a custom made D style Steering wheel made in carbon fiber to finish off my interior for my Raptor. Just added comfort and looks nothing more than that.

You can easily do a 4" lift with the factory shocks or even go over to coil overs. I have a 4 in on mine and the truck rides and handles better than stock. Given I have changed everything on the front and rear end to accommodate the additional power I have as well. It all comes down to how much...
No worries. I know some people have not had the same experience I have had with them. That is business. From my experience it has been all positive.
I am not on FB or any social media so it would be difficult for me to connect with anyone.
You can come out to Katy with Extreme Offroad and Performance. They have done several Raptors including mine. They have had plenty of practice on mine since I have basically reworked the entire truck. Give them a call and talk to Austin the owner. They do very good work, I have had them do...
It carries the same block and a few other small parts. The rest of the power plant setup is optimized for power.

Over heating in these types of exotics is common when not giving the power plant proper...
