Once the Recaro seats are available I am having a set custom stitched in the Raptor "Honey Comb" pattern. I had the diamond stitching in my previous F250, In my opinion it would make the interior of the raptor look too luxury. Try checking out the Daytona stitch pattern you may like it a little...
I would have to agree with you here. My Raptor is heavily modified and have had only a couple of very small issues. In comparison to my wife's Maserati that seem to makes it's quarterly trips to the dealership for service for various issues.
The quote he gave was $250 not sure on the shipping. Give them a call and see what they would charge to ship it. He has a few raptors in the shop now he is working on that he can build it from, or use mine. 281-398-4385 as for Austin you can mention you spoke with me (Brad). He will set you up.
Not really worried, it is just my daily driver. She stays away from my real toys. Remember happy wife, happy life.
Plus she is my admin so I need her with me quite a bit. Works great for us.
Thanks man. Only problem now is wife is pressuring me to get rid of my toy. Says it is too high and too loud, wants me to get another SUV. Sadly I can see my time with my Raptor may be ending soon.
Mine had the same surface rust spots from transport as well, white Raptor. It was all removed when we did paint correction before coating.
On your issue with rock chips, coating may not help 100%. I had a few on my painted front bumper, ended up repainted and 3M paint protecting the front...
Here is the only thing you need to make your truck a lot faster, good shop that knows how to tune the motor or swap it out. And a boat load of cash. LOL
On a serious note, shoot me a message and I can send you my engine build sheet. You won't go wrong with the options. Just will take some time...
$250, she was more than happy to show me the invoice. And then tell me exactly how much I have spent on the build, don't think I will live this one down. She only complains when it isn't one she can drive. lol
Yes it was a custom one off deal. The fit is excellent, doesn't cover the USB plugs at all. We used the open space near it to make the mount, fit is flush with the USB panel.
I had a buddy of mine make them for me out of billet aluminum. My boots kept slipping off when they are wet on the rubber. These have a raised "diamond" style grip in that doesn't slip.
I think that would be a nice change. The again some here may disagree. I can say a buddy of mine that had a red Raptor did his in red to match. It did not come out as nice. Looked too much like a ricer. Way too much of a contrast with the black seats.
I like that one as well. Too bad it wasn't available when I had mine made. Searched everywhere but could never find one for the raptor, all were F150. Looks like there will be more coming out soon.
Yes mine was the first. I needed it for a show so I had to cut the production short on the LED set up. I will have it on my next build. I hope they are able to work out the issues for yours. Let me know how it goes since I really wanted it.
Total upgrades I have in mine are about, if not more than $50k now. I quit counting at $35k to be honest. I could ask my wife but that is a sensitive subject for her. She does all my book keeping.
Sounds like my previous truck. F250 with an 8in lift on 37's. Came in handy during the hurricane last year. Had water up to the hood a few times that week. My hood was about the same height as the Ram you saw. I had the auto fold up steps so that was a big help. Pain in the ass driving in...
They are all painted piano black. My guy charged me $700 to pull and paint my interior along with ceramic coating on all the parts as well. I couldn't stand the stock greyish silver. Looked cheap.
I have this posted on another thread here are the full views of the interior...
