I have a tricky question that probably only someone at Ford engineering could possibly dig up an answer too. Dealerships seems to be really lost.
I have a 2010 6.2L Raptor with the 6R80 transmission and I need some new parts (specifically, the cooler lines). Ford made changes to the 6R80...
Having the shocks rebuilt helped me out with this, especially on the sharper bumps on the road from when they fill cracks and it sticks up above the road surface. Not totally gone, which is why I'll do new springs next, but definitely improve. I had all four shocks rebuilt for $600.
Thanks for the detailed info!! This might be what I do for now for the next couple thousand miles then replace them all together later on. Great suggestion! The support on this forum is awesome
Hey everyone. I plan this summer to spend some time and money to replace my rear leaf springs and possibly upgrade some other suspension components to improve the overall ride if possible. I had all four Fox factory shocks rebuilt in the past year, but I still feel every little bump in the road...
I am having the same issue posted above. Idle rougher than I remember (I can feel it in my seat) and every 30 - 45 seconds when idling (in park, drive, neutral, or reverse), the RPM goes up slightly then drops really low to around 400RPM. Twice the truck has stalled. Issue seems to go away when...
Update: @FordTechOne nailed it, that was the issue. I disconnected the high mount brake light and everything was back to normal, no more HDC fault and the remaining two brake lights now work as they should. I plan to order a new high mount brake light soon if anyone has any suggestions on a good...
I have a Gen1, so this doesn't really answer your question.
I paid around $22,000 USD for a 2010 Scab 6.2 with 154,000 miles in August. (Metro Detroit, MI)
Paint is in nice condition, frame is not rusty, bed has some rust underneath I've since painted, with one hole I had to weld in. Interior...
I bought my Raptor about 4 months ago and instantly it had started throwing the famous "Hill Descent Control Fault". I did some digging on the forums and read about issues with water in the third brake light, so I removed mine, cleaned it up, connected everything, and then caulked it back in...
Is the output voltage for each aux lifter 12 volts? So for example, on the 30 amp switch I can run a maximum of 12v*30a = 360Watts?
I am wiring a Christmas lights on my truck and want to use the uplifter switches. So my plan is for switch 2, wire in an inverter under the hood to convert my 12v...
