No it only does it at cold startup only. Not while in drive. Holds boost fine under loss while driving. That’s why I was curious if it was something in the programming of the earlier Raptors that was changed after 2019. Mine didn’t do it. My friends may have done this all along with the stick...
So I have a question. Had a Turbosmart E BOV installed on my 19 and it worked perfectly. Never any “odd” issues. Sold the truck and then installed it in my friends 18 and now on cold starts it seems to stay open for a minute then close as truck warms up. It functions perfectly as it should. It...
APR carbon fiber hood and fender vents for sale. Sold my truck and removed these. They are about a year old and were ceramic coated before install. Flawless. Look amazing on truck. Asking $1,000.00 even. Local pick up in Delaware area would be great but I’ll ship too. I’d split cost of shipping...
@RedlineRaptor I’ve got one I removed at 500 miles. I’ve got no idea how much it would cost to ship. It’s boxed up but weighs a decent bit. Give me an idea on what you want to spend on it and we can do a deal.
Does this light have the amber backlight ability? Watched the install video from CJ and it was mentioned. Also, what output pattern are the clear lenses? Thanks in advance.
If your installing one back in the factory location, then you don’t need to remove bumper. I upgraded to an Injen one in factory location and it was a super easy install, but I’m an Aircraft mechanic, so working on anything besides planes is easy. Some of the most unfriendly maintenance...
@Vegas_Sirk I do think think it will scratch. It’s the exact same material as the hood vent and fender vents and bed rails. That stuff is tough. I was only concerned about sun fade, so I ceramic coated them just as I did with all the textured plastic trim parts.
@RaptorLF18 that was the vin I used. I just looked up 2020 f150’s for sale. Found one with the non glossy b pillars and used that vin. Here is exact part numbers from invoice. This should be all you’ll need.
That’s the 19-20 style. I used the 17-18 style on my 19. It’s the transparent one Rappy has. I like the shape of it better. Plus it is more subdued and no so “look at this giant graphic” on the side of my truck vibe. It actually blends in better than the OEM 19-20 one in my opinion.
Look at Rappy Graphics. I got mine without and rolled around that way for a year before I decided it needed something to break up all the blue. I ordered the matte finish ones from Rappy and installed myself. If you take your time, it’s easy and way cheaper than dealer. Just my opinion.
@Howanic I second what @nikhsub1 said. I had originally had mine just parking lights and it was too dull. I went back in and added the turns as DRL w/ parking lights.
Well the conversion to non-glossy b pillars is complete. It took about 30 min to swap all 4 out and ceramic coated them so should never fade. I’ve got to say I really like the look. It matches all the other trim now.
@Dustan I’m just going to leave it glossy. I’m not sure if there is a non glossy key pad. If there is I’d swap it out. Still waiting on them to come in. I have no ide if it’s same parts for both can configurations. What I did was find a truck with the non glossy b pillars and used that vin# as...
