Yeah I do, i'm not saying it's not efective because it is, however it's not the best option. When I get home I'll dig for some data specfic to this.
What you will see over a long pull is both intercoolers lose tempature and then start gaining tempature. the front mount will continue to gain and...
They do just fine if the torque is kept reasonable. Dyno wise I prefer to keep the Raptors around 575 ft-lbs and keep a nice flat torque curve for as long as possible. Where you will have issues is with tuners that spike the torque at 3500 rpm and then just let it fall. I think I've seen...
The problem is the relocated intercoolers don't see as much airflow because the radiator and condenser are right behind them. I understand you may want to do for relocated intercooler for more than one reason including frame cut bumpers etc. But it is not the best position on the truck for the...
yes, and it's plastic which acts like an insulator to keep it from heat soaking a low speed. Ford did a pressure good job on the hot and cold piping so there really isn’t a meaningful pressure lose from the compressor outlet to the throttle body (minus the intercooler itself, that thing sucks)...
If you don't need to relocate your intercooler don't. The stock location intercooler provides the best airflow potential. I've tuned with just about every intercooler on the market and I must say my 2 favorite are the Wagner tuning intercooler and ams performance intercooler.

Not really leaning on the turbos very hard here. The real magic is the e85. This is a peak of 20-21 psi while keeping the turbos under their design limit speed.

yes you need to 1 of the following to be able to run e85:
1) upgrade the port fuel injectors ( I sell fic injectors and use either 850cc or 1000cc but can get all the way up to 2150cc)
2) upgrade the HPFP
the HPFP upgrade is going to make a few more HP and have completly stock driveablity...
Raptor gains! 180 whp+ thanks to e85 and a few basic bolt ons. We had a great time tuning Chris Powell's 2019 Raptor on his own dyno via remote.
Mods include:
ZFG Racing custom e85 tune with the HP Tuners mpvi2
Xtreme-DI LLC HPFP-35
Wagner Tuning stock location intercooler
AMS Performance...
Your wheel choice totally defeats the purpose of buying a raptor. If you were going to do that to you should have just got a limited 17 or something like that.
