I wish we could get a deal.......the fender wells around here are killer. Cheapest I found was $200 per -- some of the other LineX places wont even do them.

Hahaha..........High heat powder is perfect for this (as you can see a lot of manufacturers are starting to do this). I've done the wheels on other cars but never the exhaust - I've have seen others with their exhaust done and it holds up perfectly.

Most places don't powdercoat the lugs....knowing that it will come off pretty easily ( I asked them about that when I had my Shelby) unless people have plastic sleeves for their sockets. And more importantly it changes the size of the lug due to the required amount of powder needed to adhere. I...

Funny you mention that --- I was scratching my head over this last night when I was looking at the wheels. My first thought was to find black lugs (since my custom center cap is black/blue) but of course there aren't any for our stock wheels. I think what I will do is lightly scuff the lugs...

Paint on the emblems??...or the powder-coat on the wheels/exhaust tips?? If you're talking about the powder-coat, it is much stronger/more durable than paint. I had 2 vehicles previously with pc and never had any issues.

It's a high-heat powder -- was gonna do the entire thing but then said why waste the $$ if this is the only real visible part. I got a high-temp exhaust paint (from Eastwood) to do the rest of the exhaust myself for shits n giggles.

Turnaround depends on how busy and/or backed up they are. I dropped off all the parts (emblems and exhaust too) in September and told them I did not need them anytime soon. These were new wheels.........dont have my truck yet.

It varies......my truck was built on Halloween and shipped out the very next day.....hopefully your wait will be short!!

Picked them up today -- hopefully will get my truck tomorrow!!! More of a dark satin grey than black.......

In anticipation of my truck HOPEFULLY being delivered tomorrow, I finally picked up some of my mods. To be a bit different, I went with "autumn black" for the wheels, which is more of a very dark metallic gray rather than black - satin finish. What do ya think???

Prince William but work in Fairfax -- I've always had them work on my trucks - they will be installing my wheels/exhaust when I get my truck next week too. Great guys, top-notch work and prices. Family owned/run business - not sure what the price would run but I'm sure it's not a rape!

I was planning on taking my truck to the paint shop, removing the flares there and then driving over to the Line-X shop to have the bed and wheel wells done. The flares will take about 2 days. I obviously wouldn't drive the truck in the meantime, however -- is it not a good idea to drive 20-30...
