I’ve got a brand new spare right rear flare with marker lights from Ford that I’ll sell back to them for $10k so they can get that much closer to selling one. I have to wonder if it is the marker light holding things up.
Very cool. Springfield Underground is 3.2 million sq ft of leasable space. Food manufacturers can refrigerate it below zero for cheap since its so well insulated. That’s a sweet rate for secure, covered storage.
Is that in Springfield MO? I used to deliver server backup tapes to a cave place weekly when I was in college. It was a huge facility. Trains and semis running in and out. Springfield Underground.
Well maybe you are right! I recorded a video of my clunk as well. I can get the sound to start even bouncing the front end using the bumper or running board but the actual noise is coming from the rear. So I guess that’s why I hear the clunk even when the front suspension hits a bump. Keep us...
I did my first oil change at 1,000 miles today and wanted to write down the service but don’t see anywhere to do so in the handful of small books that came with the truck. I know the main manual is in the touchscreen but am I missing something for somewhere to write down services performed or...
I’m 99% sure mine is from the front suspension. I can go slowly and it makes the sound when the front end goes over a bump or joint in the concrete. Mine is a 35 truck.
Mine does this too. There’s a road that I drive down at 35 mph and it sounds like something in the front suspension is loose and rattling. Very annoying. Hope others get a fix figured out.
Looks good. I can appreciate how long it takes to do all of that. At this point in my life I just run her through the tunnel wash once or twice a week. Will you hand wash this thing every time it’s dirty?
I thought it did but I think the one I picked up from parts was pre-painted. I don’t think the dealer painted it but I could be wrong. It matches the others on the truck perfectly.
My flare had a tiny gouge where it meets the bedside, looks like it was damaged in the factory before it was installed. I had the dealer order another flare but just picked it up from parts and will keep it as the gouge is tiny. The new flare came with the marker lights installed as well.
I have the same black nuts that Oldfart referenced from my 2019 that I’ll be swapping at the first tire rotation. The finish holds up pretty darn well and most importantly they don’t swell to the point you have to chisel them off.
Got mine at Summit for $114
That’s actually not the carbon fiber trim, it does look a bit like it though. I and others have that trim too. I think it’s the 801a trim but haven’t seen a base model to compare with. I like it.
I posted about my gauges reverting back to the trans temp in a different thread. Should be an easy fix with a software update, just need Ford to look into it.
Yeah mine said dispatched the day it got delivered to the dealer. It was off the truck before the Palsapp updated to delivered. I bet yours shows up at the dealer today.
Mine did that too and then a day or two later it was at the dealer. Stay strong. I think they are just limited in the number of car haulers they can get to move vehicles. I bet you get it this week.
