Nice! I’ve ridden dirt bikes at St Joe but haven’t taken my Raptor there yet. Did you buy the flag at the park?
We rented a travel trailer and went to Blue Springs Ranch in Bourbon. Pulled great and got to do a little off road donuts on the gravel bar.
Read this thread earlier this morning and then cleaned my windshield and noticed I have some stuff leaking out of my 2019. Add it to the list for a warranty visit- IWE/check valve, sync issue with ambient lighting/radio presets disappearing, driver mirror clicking and now the rain sensor leaking.
I’m glad they left a note. Someone already detailed the cost difference in an earlier post. It’s about $1300 when you add the cost of the appliqué. I’m not sure what the shop cost on it is but maybe they’ll work with you on it. The other undamaged parts will swap over (camera, step, etc).
Are you asking because you need to drain the tank or for use as additional fuel storage for a generator for coronavirus pandemonium? I haven’t tried myself but thought I’d still be able to get a small fuel hose down the neck for generator use if needed. Are you saying you’ve tried using a...
Occasionally I’ll get in my truck and the 4 or 5 radio preset pages will have reverted back to 2 and the rear camera delay setting will be changed to off. Also, sometimes the ambient lighting is all the way down. Is this happening to anyone else? Should I do the update with a USB to see if...
Realized I do have another vehicle with a digital oil pressure gauge. Drove my C7 this evening and it makes 31-33 psi at 50 mph.
I did some reading and it looks like we have variable output oil pumps in our trucks and this is normal.
Thanks for confirming the range on yours. Mine is the same and has 9,000 miles on it. I just felt 22 was a bit low for a newer motor but I don’t think any prior vehicles had a digital oil pressure gauge so maybe that’s normal.
I noticed today my oil pressure is between 22 and 23 psi while driving at 55 mph steady cruise. This seems low to me. Does the EB have a different type of oil pump? What’s everyone else’s oil pressure if you have the digital gauges on your trucks?
I have a 2019 Raptor and my wife has a 2017 Denali Yukon XL with the 6.2. The Raptor feels way more powerful to me than the Yukon if that’s a concern of yours. The Yukon does get better mpg (20-22 highway) vs maybe 17-18 on the lie-o-meter in my truck although I haven’t driven it too far on...
The SXS may reduce the hitch weight slightly but if you have anything other than yourself in the truck I think you are going to be over the payload capacity. I think getting a WD hitch like you are doing is a must and it will be fine to drive but still over the payload.
Request something from Ford in writing stating the warranty is not valid and explaining why, then contact a lemon law attorney to help you. Make sure to update the post with your findings. You said the hurricane was after but I wasn’t sure what you meant by that. Could the truck have been on...
How big of a sample size did you use to get the average mpg per tank? There are way too many variables (winter blends, driving conditions, vehicle break-in, etc )to attribute a 7% increase in fuel economy to a different brand of fuel. I have run Costco premium in my gen 2 for all 8,000 miles...
