I noticed that too between my 2020 and my 2022. I think maybe it's Ford safety pushing us to keep two hands on the wheel and eventually move away from any type of stick shift going to electronic dial same as their other models. I also noticed, I used to be able to see what gear I was in all the...
Yep, I miss the storage that I had on the Gen 2. Lost it to the generator. Had to put truck on a diet
What I like to use are the low plastic stackable ammo boxes that are water proof .

Maybe consider building a half box with a ramp that once the dogs in, the ramp would lift up level with the fixed side, Like a 60/40 split seats you would have storage under and keep the visibility which always makes it easier to drive.
I installed the Airlift inside coil air bag for Dodge Ram. They have no impact on stock ride when not under load.
A regular airbag that mounts to the axle may rip apart when the spring expands off roading - articulates 24 inches. Regular airbags would be better to sit on Day Star cups.
I had timber on the Gen 2 but replaced them with an added spring. When under load you lose the suspension and feels like riding on rocks. Maybe good for short runs but not cross country.
I had them installed before picking up the camper in Oregon. After 3,000 miles I was just car sick.
I think...
They don't have an airbag for Gen 3 yet.
I installed the Airlift inside coil bags made for Dodge Ram (same size coil) When not under load, the Gen 3 maintains the stock suspension.
Waiting for a long test run this spring...
Interesting, I will need to look at my seats.
My issue was a needed a windshield replacement and I feel it is not as quiet as the factory even though I had them use OEM Ford glass.
Not an issue for me as I have had both styles. I think a custom graphic would make more sense. My tail gate is removed all summer anyway. The dealer stock was the 801A package but the tailgate and spay in line and auto stop were deleted at factory for some reason...
Heres a amazon kick off for...
Thanks, news to me - still looking for buttons that do what I don't know what. Not like the even 2 that I had memorized. The as gas gauge looks more like an oil pressure gauge.
Just registered for June 20-21 Class. We don't have that kind of terrain on the east coast. I find it a fun experience. Last time with covid, the reception was cancelled malinger it harder to network and pair up.
Nice write up. I'. heading back in June for the 4th time. They started selling guest spots - so anyone going can bring a guest for a guest fee of $1,500 -- yes $1,500. I guess it's cheaper then spending $85K for a truck .
The Holiday inn is a much better choice!
I just test drove a tremor with the 7.2. Very Nice truck, but a crew cab and 6.5 ft bed was just too long for the city and high for the garage.
In the Gen 2, the spring shop added an extra leaf spring and that solved the squat. A little firmer ride but I drive under load most of the time.
The...
Just added an airbag so the squat should go away. Rabbles the Gen 2 from East Coast to Utah to Oregon and back along Rout 66 to Florida.
Ran so well, I traded for a Gen 3. My dealer had one in the showroom.
Its about 5 hours. If you go, be sure to make reservations for Zion Park access in advance or you will be scrambling. Its only $2.00. If you don't have the reservation, then there are guide companies that charge over $4O per person.
I'm heading back to Raptor assuat in June.
I was using the iKamper mini mounted on Front Runner rails on a Diamond back cover. Tent sits about an inch over the cab roof and within the bed foot print. With the tent on the 8 inch towers I can see straight back on the rear view mirrors. It parks nicely in parking garages. Maybe selling this...
On my gen 2, I added a leaf spring to carry my 1200 pound Scout. That worked well. The Gen 3 needed a different solution with it's coid spring and I just added the "made for dodge 2019" Airlift airbags that sit inside the coil. That eliminates the squat. - I have this on another post. I have a...
Installed a coil insert airbag today that should solve my issue. While not my preference, there was nothing available after market for Gen 3. I studied the Dodge Ram coil spring and ordered the Airlift Airbag for Dodge Ram 2019 up. The coils are about the same size... so it is an off label use...
