The biggest issue I found with wrap is that it is near impossible, that I found, to color match your paint. If you wrap - you need to do the whole vehicle.
On considering this more deeply I think this is key. I thought the stock OEM Raptor wheels that I pictured above fit my Limited very well, for those very same reasons - I don't think they fit the Raptor - in my opinion.
If I can’t be OCD about my truck, I will pick something else and that might drive my wife crazy. Hey, at least we have heated steering wheels in our Gen 2’s.
Before I purchased my Gen 2, I got some Gen 3 OEM wheels I was going to put on my Limited. Now that I have a Gen 2 - I was going to put the Gen 3 wheels on it. But now I am having second thoughts, so I thought I would page through the Gen 3 owners thread to make sure I like the Gen 3 wheels and...
This Wednesday I purchased an Undercover Amor Flex tonneau cover from the RealTruck sponsor on this forum. Wow, they gave me a great price and shipped out super fast - was here this morning (Saturday). I installed it, took about 2 hours (they say it should take about an hour) = So that sounds...
Well, I tried to buy a Gen 2 from this dealer this summer that they had listed for $89K - it had 20,000 miles and they would not budge on the price and I had a 2019 Limited to trade in. (I walked out and then continued to text back and forth with the salesman for a couple of days - they would...
So looking more at this, what the heck does the 3rd brake light look like? - There are 2 different versions of the no-camera light on the web page. Obviously not very good QC.
I have to say I like both the tail lights and the 3rd brake light. Only having purchased my Raptor going on 2 weeks now, I have concluded that the 3rd brake light is pretty fugly and the tail lights are disappointing. These both look like a nice upgrade. I need to consider.
I really like the 3...
"rainy winter season". Heck it rains 500 days a year here.
We have 4 seasons; rainy winter - which lasts 9 months, then a few weeks of spring & summer which then transitions into Wild Fire & Smoke season for 2 months, then 2 weeks of fall. You can't even get up in the Cascade mountains to...
Double posting from "What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)" But I want to keep this thread alive. My gosh, the Ingot Silver just pops in the sun. Spectacular.
Washed the truck for the first time. Really happy with the condition, you see everything when you wash a truck. This is in better shape than the Limited I traded in. Just mint condition. Took it out for a drive in the Carnation Valley outside Seattle - beautiful day. I am really loving this...
Just put your winch on a cradle and run quick connects to the back. Keep the winch in the bed. I can't imagine the shape the synthetic line will be in after a year of sitting under the back of the truck.
Michigan taxes are the worst. Just look up their intangibles tax - my gosh. So glad I moved out of that state... We have it pretty good in Washington State. It could be so much worse. (The current government is trying to turn us into Michigan)
Yes, I purchased a 2019 Limited back in February when used 2019 Raptor's were selling for at least $10K over original MSRP. A couple weeks ago, I noticed that prices on used +2019 Gen 2's had dropped down below original MSRP so traded in my 2019 Limited for a 2019 Raptor.
3.55 on my Limited.
I will say after driving the Raptor for 2 weeks, the Limited feels a little more quick off the line and agile - noticeable but not huge - you can feel the difference in tires - the 35's weight over the stock Limited's 31's on 22" wheels. With the Raptor, you feel more...
Well, I kept looking at upgrading the Limited. Doing a lift, putting 35" tires. I even played around with adding a torsen front diff. Then it hit me. Just go get a F'ing Raptor. So I checked used prices and they have come way down since the summer. Got a pretty good deal on this immaculate...
