Walking through the parking garage at the Domain and saw this beast. Didn’t know such a build existed. Anyone seen one of these before? Even had a GEN2 Raptor hood.
I used safelite here in Killeen Texas after the slider was broken in to. No issues or leaks and they said they only use OEM parts, also not allowed to just replaced the sliding window. Only complaint was a little bit of that sealer/caulk kind of bludged a little bit on one part but it’s cosmetic...
Running 3.0s LV with Deaver 3+HDs and the ride is excellent and has performed very well during my first track day down at Rally Ready a month ago. Had a spare/two recover boards and chase rack in the back and the stock spare underneath. Had some rebound on one particular jump but never bottomed...
What the need is to add a "cool" button to the rear "heated" seats. Not sure why this isn't an obvious design requirement or at least upgrade that I am sure many would buy.
The real question that no one is asking.....what do you do for a living that you can buy two new Raptors with the current ADMs flying around! Was it a two for one deal?
I would highly recommend you take the Raptor Assault course so you can see what the GEN3 is capable off the show room floor; after that class you may realize you don't need any mods for what you are going to use it for. If you don't want to go, I'll take your slot!
I can sort of see why the dealers are not keen on the ride height calibration after reading the install instructions for the Icon UCAs. If you never make any mods to the front suspension (springs, UCAs etc) and keep everything stock then you could infer that the ride height would never need to...
You are absolutely correct sir; I see peeps driving around with light bars blazin' on the main drag in Heights. Worry about those dudes brining any unnecessary attention to the aftermarket light owners that use them responsibly not for a rolling light show.
Another FYI; I was told that SAE stamp does not make a light street legal and a "DOT" label is what will make a light street legal. Not sure if this is completely accurate as I have never seen any actual legal literature and also not sure if it varies by state.
BLUF: Calibrated and error free. I appreciate everyone's help today and would like to share all that I learned on this 8+ hour journey today. The five-minute job that went sideways.
So, after quickly completing the height calibration I was unable to zero out my front left ride height value. In...
Well, I disconnected the battery and reconnected. Hooked up laptop w/ powersupply and OBD. Calibration is still showing 199 on front left and zero for all others but I shot a note to FordTechOne about the error code and he is suggesting I flash the VDM Module with as built info to reset and...
I'll give that a shot; the error (Drive Control Malfunction) has never occurred in the three years I have owned my truck until I ran this calibration. That part is my biggest concern. I also had no noted failures after my suspension was upgraded back in July 21. I sure hope this works. Thank you.
Team, need some help. Finally got the nerve to do my ride height calibration and something is not right. The calibration process ran without error but when it was all said and done, I had 199mm in my front left right height and the rest were all zero. Tried to run it again then it failed. Ran...
Saw earlier in this thread there were a couple folks picking up this SPD equal Length Resonator Delete, RDFR20EL but does anyone have feedback if this mod + stock downpipes/exhaust stock creates droning when cruising 60-80 mph down the highway?
Even though I can't go again, I'm glad to see that they are still running the course. I was a bit worried when I got an email today from Fort Performance Racing School that had all their Raptor Gear on clearance: https://mailchi.mp/5488a387b757/invite-only-raptor-assault-clearance-sale?e=a124ef22e6
Please point the Ford ADM Police to Automax Ford in Killeen, TX. They are selling a used Bronco First Edition model for $30,000 over the $63,000 when you build a new one in Ford’s website. Yes, I said used, about 1500 miles I believe and $93,000 dollars?!?!! Nuts.
