Except that I haven't really seen a decrease in those abominations since the law passed nearly a year ago. I can't tell that it's really being enforced.
I'm mixed on my opinion of the law. I think the owners of squatted trucks were likely dropped on the head at birth, but I also think the...
System or Module? I had a message stating Brake System Fault.

Removing and reseating fuse 42 under the hood made it go away, and it hasn't resurfaced yet.
It was my understanding the recall had been performed prior to when I picked it up. That may be an incorrect assumption though.
Is that one of the symptoms of needing the recall? I thought the recall issues only presented themselves when a trailer was connected.
I did find some information about removing and reseating fuse 42 under the hood. I did that, and the alert didn't reappear. So, fingers crossed that took care of it.
Of course if that did fix it, it's a little concerning I had to essentially power cycle that module to reset a fault that...
When I started up my truck this afternoon I received a message that stated "Trailer Brake System Fault". The entire ride home it would popup then go away, with about 10 seconds in between.
No trailer was attached, and there's only been one time I've hooked up a trailer, and that was back in...
Based on your post prior to this one, your dealer didn't have a 37 PP allocation for you. Do they have one for 2023, maybe. However, it sounds like they've been dangling a carrot in front of you up until now.
Order banks weren't open in May of 2021. I'm assuming the dealer had you on a list at that point, and no actual order was actually placed in May. I'll be willing to bet that your dealer never even had an allocation for you given what you are saying.
Yes, it's a memory button. However upon starting the truck defaults to the stock settings and you must double tap the R button to return to your presets.
Mine took 10 months as well, starting from the original 2021 order date not the 2022 reorder date. It was finally delivered back in May. Congratulations, I know firsthand how long that wait is!
I was having problems with my tailgate not working. It was an intermittent issue. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't open or close no matter whether I used the key, tailgate button, or dash button. I even had an instance where the truck indicated it was open when I was going down the...
I'm currently using a Blackview DR750X-2CH. I start getting a low battery warning after it's been sitting around 14 hours or so, telling me I'm nearing the point that the camera will stop recording. Granted, I park at the house in a way I catch quite a bit of traffic overnight. You won't make it...
That seems really low, but I would suspect that is because they aren't really being used on the street. I'm headed there in a few weeks, so I'll see what they say when I'm out there.
Pretty much sums up my thoughts.
Could I have paid the ADM? Yes.
Would I have paid the ADM? No.
I'd simply have waited it out if that was my only option. I'm not in the business of handing out free money, The Raptor is expensive to begin with, I wasn't about to give them more money "just...
Not sure how it is in Texas, but in NC you still have to make a payment to DMV for the plate tax because part of it is based upon the county you live in. So you have to pay that tax yourself before the permanent tag is issued. The dealers here sometimes don't do a very good job explaining that...
I had a similar problem, but it was intermittent. First time into the shop they replaced the tailgate module. The issue resurfaced. They looked into it further and finally checked the connection to the Gateway Control Module, which is in the dash. They found that the factory connected the...
All 7 codes, plus the optional one. For a total of 8 changes. Then, you should see the option in the settings menu which you'll need to enable.
As a sidenote, I always power cycle the vehicle after making a series of changes like this. Turn the vehicle off, and then open and close the door to...
Worked just fine for me. Make sure you make all the changes, also make sure if you add the menu to Sync 4 that you enable it in the menu. It's disabled by default.
Correct, you get the ability to roll the windows up and down from the key fob. In my case, given the recent rash of 90+ degrees days, it's nice to open the windows from my office a few minutes before leaving for the day. It helps me avoid that big blast of heat when I open the door.
