I did this upgrade yesterday, my fuse and slot showed no signs of melting so I was lucky. Apparently I did the job correctly as my truck started after the installation. LOL
With that said I am glad that I did this upgrade (and it is an upgrade) because after reading this thread there was...
Not sure if this is related, however I did have a 2009 F150 that the windows fogged up. It was due to water seeping in from my third brake light and satellite antenna. I guess because of the moisture in the vehicle caused the windows to fog up more frequently in the cooler temps.
I wonder how insurance companies payout on a claim for stolen or totaled Raptor? My guess is they go by current blue book value. With that said, all who are financing above MSRP should consider GAP insurance to cover the difference in cost in case of a total loss.
Skyfrog your not alone I dropped my plastic plug in as well on the driver side. I was going to buy another plug however until reading your post I had forgot about it. So currently I have been plugless for the last year or so. LOL, I guess I should look up the part number and order one. With that...
I sure could have used the defrost this morning at least for my mirrors. I wonder if it would be worth contacting the dealer regarding this issue since it is an inherent defect.
Add me to the club mine stopped working about 3 weeks ago. 2013 SCREW with less than 11,000 miles on it. Looks like I will be scheduling a visit to the dealer and my warranty just ran out a month ago.
Hello Forum members,
Looking to purchase performance headers for my 6.2 and was wondering if anybody had any real data on what the horsepower gain and mileage improvements were after installing headers? What horsepower gain should I see or expect to see? I have searched but found no real...
I have the same problem as well I am waiting for the new KM 2s to come in. I have worse spots then these pics show but I just walked out to the truck and took these a few mins ago. I had my spare checked as well and it was OK. I only have 7000 miles on my tires. BFG said they would replace these...
When I ordered my 2013 I thought about getting this option. I think it was around $200 and dealer installed. After reading this thread "wow" I wish I had ordered it as it looks like a lot of work to add it. I cannot believe the dealer would go through all this effort though.
I’m just surprised that the design engineers would think it was ok to have a sub on the floor knowing people would use the back seating area for hauling stuff. From what I can remember Ford advertises the size of the rear area for hauling stuff.
I have also had my Satellite antenna leak as well. It was easy to tell as it leaked on my passenger floor mat dripping from the grab handle. This was on my 2009 F150 but its always on the back of my mind for my 2013. And yes I also had the third brake light leak as well on the 2009. You would...
Huck that is a good idea, I will have to look into that. Maybe rig some kind of quick disconnect so when I do haul somethings in the back seat area I could just remove the sub and replace it when finished. I was following the behind the seat sub thread here on FRF hoping that there was a...
Get rid of the Sony speaker that's on the floor of the passenger rear seating area. Its not in the way when the seat is down however when you need the extra room on the floor its always in my way.
I have the masterlock but I taped it with black duct tape to keep it from rattling and wearing the paint. I figured that if i needed to take the tailgate off i would just peel the tape off to insert the key. At this point in time I have no reason to take the tailgate off so its been okay for...
