I believe that stock stall and getting the power to the ground the quickest is the goal. I’m sure I’d tear the heck out of the next week launching at a higher stall. I have to remind myself this isn’t a drag truck.

I went with MS Racing. The shop should have my transmission pulled this week. MS Racing has the rebuild kit on order ($4200). That's for a build that SHOULD be able to hold 1200 RWHP.

Thank you. I'm going to have the shop change out the ball joints and bushings while the tranny is out for rebuild. And install the new UCA's and install the Blitkrieg steering kit.
I'm down for a bit with my Gen 1 while the tranny is getting pulled, and sent out for rebuild.
I have some other goodies that need worked on while it's down.
I have Blitkrieg UCA's to install, as well as Blitkrieg tie rods to get put on.

Has anyone used HPP racing on here for tuning a Gen 1 raptor? They are out of Garland, TX. Looks like they prefer dyno tuning, but will tune how you want.
There were no DTC's. A couple for the TCCM, but it did shift into 4H, 4L and back to 2H. I suspect the little motor, but no visible damage to the wires or harness plug. I'll ask the shop to do a self test with the TCM and to double check for any DTC's. Will report findings later.
One last oddity that I would like to throw out there. When this first started to occur, my dash lights 654321 and PRND etc all would flash when the truck would come out of gear under load.
Add that to the oil was dark, but not burnt and no particles obvious in the pan….

The shop that I took my truck to said that the oil didn't look that bad. Went ahead and changed the oil and filter. No change. Still popping out of gear under any considerable amount of load.

I didn't get to it this weekend, so took it in to a shop to be looked at this morning. FWIW - My truck did drive under it's own power to the shop. I didn't push it hard, but it didn't pop out of gear any.

I hooked Forscan up again and no codes except the tccm. I looked at the plug for the motor on the transfer case, no damage and looks fine. It did shift to 4H and 4L and back to 2H, so I’m not worried about that.
