This is correct. You will also need access to a welder to fabricate the tool for pulling the piston. You can probably buy the tool but I couldn't find one in my town. Also need the wrench for taking the cap off the shock too.

These shocks are easy to rebuild. Did all 4 on my 2011 for somewhere around $300 I think. That included buying a regulator for refilling.

I'd consider making the trip for the right price. What part of Ontario are you in? What kind of dealer fees did they charge you?

Yeah it seems like it is. I've shopped around and luckily the best deal I can find is 10 minutes from my house which is in the middle of nowhere.

A question for those who have upgraded from 2017/2018 to the 2019. Price difference for me is $4000 Canadian for a 2018 vs 2019. Plus the 8-12 week wait. Do you feel the 2019 is worth the wait and the little higher price? That $4000 would pay for the extra parts I plan to buy before driving...

Has anyone had luck in finding discounts for Canadian Raptors? Best I've found so far is $2500 under MSRP for a 2018 or $4500 under MSRP for a 2018 demo with 3800km. Best price I can find on a 2019 is MSRP plus taxes. No dealer fees.
