Bunman would be proud, I slathered on some tire shine. Going to a truck show today. Wish I was packing up to head west to Moab or some other suitable spot for these rigs. Pippa wishes we were going on a road trip also.
Installed my SVC bumpstop kit I bought months ago. Been waiting for the weather to cool off before rolling around on the garage floor for 8 hrs( I’m old…. and slow)
Yeah, compressing the suspension is a lot harder to do than drooping it. Do you think the ramp at my local 4x4 shop will work. My thought is I should be hitting the bumpstop just prior to the shock running out of stroke. Could only do one side at a time with the articulation ramp.
Did you sell it with the bypass rack. I’m sure you did, big holes in the bed is likely a hard sell with out them.
I’ve had Carli on 2 Cummins trucks, good stuff.
I had a 23 F-350 with the LED headlights and painted bumpers. The LEDs are cool.. until you have to drive it in a driving snowstorm...
I installed this SVC bumpstop kit yesterday. I have Deaver +4HD springs.
Sitting at ride height I have 6 inches of possible upward shock travel. The bump has about 1-3/4 of piston travel. I currently have the bumps adjusted so that the bottom of the bumpstop is 5 inches from my bump pad.

Sorry, been out of the loop. I have a small amount of preload on the front FFRS. About 1/2 of thread showing above adjustment ring, maybe less. I have about 1in of rake with Deaver + 4 rears.
I live Northern Va, my business is tied to new housing market. This area is typically one of the best new housing markets and I can tell it’s starting to slow dramatically. I feel( but don’t really know) that the high interest rates are going to crash the housing market.
But yes, both sides...
Yes, have some jack stands handy and a helper. You have to unbolt the bumper to get to the wiring connectors, or at least I did, but did it by myself. I supported the bumper with jack stands until I got the wiring connectors apart
I’m in WV. We got our share of deer. If I hadn’t of changed lanes when I did, I would have hit a big buck at 70mph going to the airport back in Jan. I could see the carnage in the rear view. It’s been awhile since I’ve hit one
It’s the Pro Bolt on with the optional light hoop. I’m unsure if they still make it. There was also a frame cut bumper that was just the Pro, they looked better, but I didn’t want to cut my frame horns off. I have just the “ Pro” on the rear.
I’m on my third set of lights in the center section of my ADD bumper. And think I’m done, with the center.
I started with 5 Rigid cubes, then a 20in Rigid light bar. Now I have 4 BD Squadron R SAE. I like that I can use them on the Hiway.
I just picked up an ADD Race Chase Rack for the wife’s Gen 3. It’s not really my “ cup of tea”, but she likes it. Having it re powder coated now. Does anyone have any photos of a vertical single spare tire carrier mounted in their truck, Gen 2 or Gen 3 and if so, any comments of how happy you...
