I had a Gen 2 wave at me a couple of weeks ago. Kind of threw me off guard. I thought that was a Jeep thing. I usually see a Gen 2 at the gym and my daughter was adamant that was him because it was the same color. BTW your IG posts always pop up when I am scrolling through IG.
I have seen 3...
A familiar name from a different forum. You need it for that new M240 don't you? Also keep an eye out for a Roush F250. Those are beautiful trucks also with a little less price tag than the Shelby, but still a beast.
I towed my 6000 lbs boat with my truck and did not have any issues. The back end dropped a couple of inches, which is partially why there is the rake in trucks, but it wasn't that noticeable. I bought Timbren SES bump stops, but they did not fit correctly so they did not make a difference. I...
How is the size comparison between the two. I know my Raptor looks smaller in pictures than it is in person, but that TRX looks bigger. I have seen a F250 in Atlas blue and I love the color. After seeing Atlas Blue in person, I might have chosen that over black if it were available on the...
I feel the same way. I hear a little noise that to me sounds like something could be loose, but definitely not unbearable. I wonder if what I hear and consider minimal is the same thing others hear and freak out about. Either way, I love my experience with the truck with almost 6000 miles on it.
First time I had it in sport mode with the wife, I tapped her and said did you hear the exhaust on that downshift? Sounded pretty sweet didn't it? Not much of a response out of her though.
I was backing up yesterday and I got a warning about reverse brake assist not activated or something like that. It has popped up a couple of times for me randomly. Is this what your situation is with it?
They talk about the improvements over the Gen 2 on EXO's YouTube video they made of their trip down to Cabo. This is a good video about the off-roading performance of the Gen 3.
This is most likely sourced domestically. Most of the resin comes from the Texas area. There are sheet extruders and thermoformers or mold injectors all over the US.
You are probably correct with this. We make plastic thermoformed parts for the RV industry. We do a lot of fender skirts for class C and A units, travel trailers and fifth wheels. We use to get plastic sheet from our vendors with about a 6 week lead time. One of our largest suppliers is now...
The air suspension definitely helps the sag. It can also improve the ride. I know a guy who installed Air Ride bags on his Gen 2 and pulled a boat around 8k lbs. he said it improved the ride quality and sway quite a bit as well as the sag.
I went through Ziebart because I have used them for detailing for several years on mine and my wife's vehicles and been really happy with their work. Their ceramic has a 10 year warranty and cost around $1,100 - $1,200. I am very happy with it so far. I will take it back to them yearly just...
I got mine in the mail yesterday. I am hoping to go next summer when dates open up. Last I checked, it looked like they didn't have schedules that far out.
I drive on the Indiana toll road every day to and from work. I have noticed that when I get to some sort of exit, the truck will pull right and then the lane centering cancels. When I am passing semi's, I also notice the truck will want to pull closer to the center line, even though I have...
I drove by one a couple of weeks ago on a two lane road. I saw him and he saw me. I felt like we both kind of looked at each other in disappointment like we thought I was the only one around with a new Gen 3 and now there is someone else.
Went to dinner Tuesday night and pulled in the...
I know this issue has been mentioned in a couple of threads. Has anyone reached out to Fox to get their insight on their suspension and the clunking complaints?
