I recently received a couple prototype sets of the new SL wheels (if you've been following). These were used to make the final modifications to the production models. They are not the production model but they are 100% functional. I am running the other set on my personal truck.
The only two...
Those can be ordered now. We don’t do any anodize though. We’ve done some brushed black and brushed grey that both use tinted clear powder. But that’s about as close as we get to an anodize look.
@ToadSmasher2K1 it looks like a step in the wrong direction. I am an AT3W fanboi but the 4 is heavier and the sipes look worse. Buy all the AT3/W you can before they’re gone lol.
@cfmistry well 5 will land you over 3k so I guess you’re right. I can have the rings done in dark grey but last time I tried to match the finish was a little light. Raw is always an option and you could powder them locally. I know there are some colors very close to the flares. I’m just limited...
Only if the extra money is a tip ;) these will be 2600 shipped. Although I need to work on sourcing better black bolts. These are black zinc and will rust. Either way I plan to keep it under 3k.
@nikhsub1 they clear the R1’s by about 4mm. I’d need a template to check Alcon though.
They can be done in various widths and offsets. The depth might change a little depending on the 8.5 forging that has Alcon clearance.
I don’t know what people sell grenade beadlocks for but msrp is 485 so $1940 for a set. So not double but mine are an extra $660 on the set. But you can pick any color and various specs… PM if you’re interested.
You would have a big gap between the ring and wheel. Given the wheel allows for mounting behind the flange like oem that is. There are some companies out there that offer rings that close up that gap. But it ultimately comes down to two things.
1. If the KMC wheel can be mounted behind the...
Works for the Rocks arms. Figured I try it on the wheels. It’s actually because the lights are turned up too bright for a gloss finish. The powder is high gloss though.
I recently had an issue with my shifter. It started making a plastic crunching noise when shifting from Drive to Reverse or Park. Sometimes it felt like something was going to break when I forced it into Park. I figured out what the issue was but I am posting this in case anyone else has this...
