Ah, makes sense. My buddy gets like 9 :hahano:. I shouldn't laugh, I think I'm getting 12. I went with the Raptor because I've had good experiences with my gen 1 and I managed to snag at MSRP. But after driving the TRX, it's significantly faster, and I bet you'd be disappointed if power is...
If you love the TRX and it isn't a daily, I'd keep it. Your MPG numbers are actually pretty good for that beast, and not too far off from mine on a gen 3.
Yeah, that's exactly why I picked the +25 offset, even though I love the look of +0. I hit the dunes at least once a quarter and was worried about the fenders on jumps and the bigger sand whoops; I didn't want to deviate too far from stock, but these have just a little poke and hopefully not...
I have a Gen1 that I love, and recently bought a Gen3. I think the answer depends on what you're using the truck for, and what your financial situation is like. As a daily driver, the Gen3 is a much nicer ride, and I personally love the tech/interior VS the aging first generation. I'd take Gen3...
It changed from built to shipped, and then it changed back to built and lost the window sticker until it arrived at the dealership. Never had an ETA, and now says delivered if I check.
My day has arrived, boys. It's been a pleasure suffering with you all. For what it's worth, my tracker never updated from "TBD" before arriving. A few more arrived with her, so hopefully people start receiving theirs soon.
Looks like mine just shipped this morning. Went into production 10/28, and officially "built" on 12/31. ETA is 2/08, and the window sticker mysteriously disappeared today. Stay faithful, friends
This is Dallas, 6 months old. Patiently waiting to jump into the Gen 3 and get his drool all over the place.
Somewhat on topic - dealer let me know there was movement on my truck today. It was "put back into inventory" .... whatever that means.
You get used to it quickly, but I'd avoid busy drive-thrus for the first month until you're confident with the dimensions. Also, take a buddy with you the first time you offroad.
I feel you. Been flirting with the idea of jumping in a TRX myself out of frustration. Be careful tho... as a few others have mentioned, Tesla's customer service isn't their strong point. I will say the Model 3's acceleration is no joke and a ton of fun... too bad it's ugly :)
Looks like my truck is finally built - tracker just updated and now list ETA as 12/05. I ordered a 35 w/ auto start/stop delete and spray-in bedliner for those benchmarking times/scenarios
Some small **** energy in this thread on both sides; this is what gives truck guys a bad rep imo. Both engines have their pros and cons, buy what you want and enjoy. It's ok to prefer the sound of a V8. It's ok to admit the TRX is a badass truck. It's ok if an ecoboost is faster than your 6.2l...
