Any tips on removing the fender flares? I want to have them Line X but don't trust them to remove them. I know there are push pins on the wheel lip but don't know how they are attached around the top side. I have heard there are little clips. Have also heard that these clips are not...
Yeah there is a thread that talks about the grease. I think Ford even has a part number for a kit with the grease they recomend. I just used a good high quality wheel bearing grease. Seems to have worked.
Well mine is all back together so I really can't take photos of the process but I can walk you through it step by step. The plastic cover snaps onto the base plate of the bumperette. Once you snap the plastic cover off you can't get the little tabs that hold it on back over the base plate...
The white that shows in the rear wheel wells from the sides of the bed was bugging me. Guys with a black truck don't have this problem but all other colors do. So I sprayed the white parts that show with bedliner coating. I think it looks a heck of a lot better. I don't know if anybody else...
My CLUNK is gone!!!! Pulled the shaft today and greased the heck out of the yoke. Clunk gone for now. Lets hope it lasts for a while. Thanks to FRF for all the info on the clunk and how to solve it. :) :)

"It's useless as tits on a boar hog IMO". My grandpa used to say that all the time but have never heard anyone else say it. Brings back happy memories. Thanks. :)
Got my beadlock rings back from the powder coater so I couldn't wait to get them back on the truck. I love the new look. That silver color from the factory just didn't do it for me. What do you guys think?
Well that's about the 5.4 In the Raptor tech forums it goes from 2011 to 2017. No 2010. And mine is a late 2010 with the 6.2 I guess I'm just the odd man out. LOL
I agree and have been very curious why there is no special section in this forum for 2010 Raptors like there is for every other year. Seems very prejudicial to me.
I probably won't drive my Raptor while the rings are off. I have an F350 that's my daily driver. I do have a good powder coater that I use often so he treats me pretty good. If is black or white he usually gets the job done for me the next day because he has those colors set up all the time...
Great thanks for the reply and hint to clean the threads SilentShooter. I will definitely do that. I did do a search before I posted but could not find the answer. They will be going to my powder coater next week.
I would like to have my bead lock rings powder coated. Is it ok to remove the rings with the tires inflated? I know they are just there for looks so I'm assuming they have nothing to do with holding air.
