If anyone wants the morimoto headlights they would be totally easy on a stock truck. The whipple intercooler setup gets in the way like crazy. I had to unhook it and fight everything so I didn’t remove the intercooler reservoir.
The end result was so worth it.
Got my morimoto headlights installed. Huge difference so far. Going for a test drive in a bit. They were a nightmare to install because of the supercharger intercooler
You're in the same boat as me. I just bough a 2010 with a whipple on it. No service records really and I have no idea as to the tune or generation of blower. The only thing I've figured out is that it is probably an older generation because the intercooler is smaller than the one they currently use.
Looking to redo my front suspension completely. About to order new control arms , springs, and tie rods. It’s a job that if you’re doing one thing you might s as well do the other.
Trying to find a mechanic that won’t totally rip me off.
Traded in my 2021 wrangler for a 2010 raptor. Crazy trade I know. The backup camera in that wrangler was amazing. The one in the raptor blows. It’s extremely dated and foggy as you said. Even after me cleaning it. I’m looking into swapping the camera out.
I pulled the trigger based off rock auto part numbers and a few posts based on what I saw but can anyone confirm these are the shocks/struts for a 2010 supercab?
Definitely a stage one. I’m going to order a new filter from whipple. I’m going to sand the box down and paint it. It’s got some surface rust on it. The truck came from Canada. I’ve also got to figure out how to remove the rhino liner from the underside. That’s a rust trap waiting to happen.
I just purchased my truck and an trying to just tune it up and clean it up. What is the part number for the air filter by itself?
I found a post taking about a blue oiled one but couldn’t find anything when googling it.
I strongly suggest using fsb. It’s a huge source of knowledge. I’m doing a setup with cut and turned beams, Chevy 8 lug fronts, and sterling 10.25 swap. Already have headers. I’ve totally restored it from the ground up.
Purchase complete. I’m learning how to navigate this forum because it’s functionality is different than fullsizebronco.
Hopefully I can find some stuff on here. I’ve already got a blower and know about the fuse 27 thing. So I guess I just need to add a front locker and update the...
I’m buying a gen one as we speak. Has 77k on it. Had it inspected and it’s in great shape.
I noticed a whine when I first looked at it. Popped the hood to find this. Dealer has no idea.
Looking to retune the truck I just bought. It’s fine now but i don’t know who did it in the past so I want peace of mind. What tuning programs are best? I saw someone comment saying that hptuners causes issues.
