    2023 vs 2024 avalanche comparison

I don't even notice the difference between gen 2 and gen 3, let alone minor differences in gen 3 ...

New 24 model vs slightly used 22

Good points, but I think most pay cash in these days of high interest rates. Unless the interest can be deducted somehow.

    This is a hijacking

I'll bet that's why, in your picture, you have your ears pinned back. I'll bet you developed an acute sense of smell to compensate. LOL

    This is a hijacking

^^^ This. Normal people lose the high frequencies as a result of loud music, unprotected cordless hole puncher use, a noisy workplace, or just living in loud cities. But there are a lot of abnormal people. Many of them hang out here. You know who you are. :) My father spent lots of hours...

    35's on an r

That's what I read the first time. Had to go back to see Hoosiers. I'm either dyslexic or preverted. I guess I could be both. :)

New 24 model vs slightly used 22

2022 is the newer design. 24 is two years later with the same design. That said ... $5k ADM sounds high for this late in the cycle with consumer debt levels high and defaults rising. And the '22 has the Torsen and the ASSdelete. I'd probably jump on that one unless $25k was pocket change for me.

    Electrical battery issue or what?

The problem is that all of the computer BS is drawing power when your truck is off. Quite a lot of power. It's not just a matter of making up the drain from starting the vehicle, it also has to make up for a day's worth of software mästurbation.

    Shelter Green 37PP YouTube Video

Jesus that's ugly. The upside is that I'd be in a hurry to scratch the paint off and that would lead to lots of off-road fun and games.

What kind of gas does everyone like ?

I've found that lentils produce the finest gas imaginable. Add some cabbage to turn it up to eleven. :)

    Fender Flares easily scratched???

I'm afraid to ask. If you were @Oldfart I'd at least have a guess. Then again, we're supposed to face our fears. So ... what?

    Ride quality question

Why not do a chalk test? Easy peasy. On my gen 2 the pressure that ran brand-new OEM BFGs flat with the truck empty was 32F/28R. Coincidentally, that's what they recommended at RA. You do have that annoying low tire indicator in your face unless you Forscan it lower.

How did you even find six goats at short notice in Utah? And how did you get them all in that rental car? Did the goats rotate or did you? And how many ... er ... laps did you run? :)

    23 Ford buy back-purchase

Good point. As an aside, do folks know the original definition of "heresy"? Thinking for yourself. The church turned it into a religious crime.

    Shifting manual mode. Rev limiter

Either that or lose the shifter. That button is the only thing I like about it on the gen 2.

Welcome. Not having back seats is a plus for overlanding. I fold mine up and put the heavy stuff, the water and coolers, in the back seat. That keeps the weight more balanced and reduces toad squat.

They made it an inch or two bigger in every dimension because when it comes to díck measuring, every inch matters.

I was thinking about how I was going to answer and then I read your response to @Old-Raptor-guy. I'm revising my answer to: Fúck off. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
